Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Edmonton North

There was homeless people all over the property and inside the lobby everyday. The bathroom had a horrible smell that only went away for a few hours after the room was cleaned when requested. The staff that prepare breakfast do a great job though. I would never stay here again.

Nice little pool and slide for the kids. No hot tub which would be ideal after a long day in the city. Great selection for breakfast. Depending on which side of the building you get, it can be very loud with sirens all night, but we request a room overlooking the parking lot to help with that. Beds are comfy and entire place is modern.

The staff and management are very kind and competent. The spaces are clean and the premises are well kept. There is construction going on nearby but the noise wasn't noticable from where I was at least. Check out the nearby lakes and restaurants! It is a beautiful and growing area.

Great stay. Except the turkey breakfast sausages didn't taste like breakfast sausages at all. They tasted like chicken stock powder. Gross. Everything else was good.

No it wasn’t a five star top of the line breakfast. But consider Breakfast is included it was great! I had a tasted bagel with cream cheese.The kids enjoyed the swimming pool although the chlorine was very strong. Also would have loved a hot tub.

Declined housekeeping services as I always do since I am not comfortable with anyone in my personal stuff. They went into my room anyway and threw my personal stuff on the mast floor. I walked in to find my pajamas and pillow on the floor.I had my laser with me and that was also on the floor in the bathroom after I believe dropping from the towelBar when they put in clean towels.Do notRecommend this hotel. Especially for the price. Other parents stayed at better hotel for less money just 2 miles away.

My family and I have stayed here multiple times now as we live just south of Calgary, but come to Edmonton often to visit extended family and friends.The entire staff are always smiling and very friendly, right from the front door to the cleaning team, everyone is always very friendly and accommodating.The hotel lobby area and more importantly the rooms are very clean and have everything you would expect to have a comfortable stay. Its location is also very conveniently located to main roads, restaurants and other services one might need.Two employees on staff have consistently gone over and above to make sure our stay is enjoyable and I’d like to say thank you to Sorov ( I believe the general manager) and to Sukhman who is at the front desk.Highly recommend!Regards,Jeff. We stayed here for one night, as a part of a family vacation, and enjoyed the experience. In addition to an easy process, we were also able to check-in early (30-60 minutes). The rooms (2 queen beds) were clean and functional (we aren't really looking for much more than sleeping quarters), the pool was decent (our kids really enjoyed the slide), and the breakfast was good. Overall, this hotel worked for us for our one night stay.

This hotel has been our go to accommodation in Edmonton ever since it opened and were happy with the service. We also recommended it to several other people. I just discovered that since our visit in April 2023 that the prices have more than doubled. This increase just happens to coincide with the increased need for accommodations with the province being in a state of emergency and the thousands of people being forced to evacuate due to the wildfires. This is a blatant disregard for human decency and plain greed for taking advantage of others misfortune. I have checked several other hotels and have not found another example of the price gouging. I will never stay at this hotel and encourage others to boycott them as well. They need to remember that that this gravy train will end and they should be rewarded for their opportunist greed!!!
