Holiday Inn Burlington-Hotel & Conf Centre, an IHG Hotel

Great location to stay in Burlington. Quick highway access, close to pretty much anything you could possibly need.Staff are very nice and service is great. There was this one employee who would knock and yell housekeeping AFTER barging in the room at 10am... Happened on multiple days and always the same person. Highly doubt it's hotel policy.Rooms are decent especially with the new renovations/upgrades and there's a nice pool and an adequate gym.Not sure if it was just our room but water pressure was very low. It also took a while to get hot water. We also had a very bipolar climate control unit in our room... very difficult to hold a steady comfortable temperature. But overall everything was very clean and well maintained.

An excellent hotel in a good location, close to amenities like restaurants. Great staff and extensive conference facilities available.A very nice pool near the lobby restaurant and bar, where parents can watch if they have family members using the pool.All amenities are accessible for those who appreciate ease of access. There are wheelchair accessible washrooms and showers, I noted in one of the rooms I was visiting one day. Washrooms are close by the lobby as well.Lots of parking available in a large parking lot and the hotel is just off Queensway Drive, so easy to access.The photo was the sunrise from my room window.

We live locally, but when our carpets were being cleaned we decided to stay overnight at the hotel and take advantage of the pool facilities. I was very disappointed in the hotel. Looking worn down and dated. We called the front desk 3 times from our room - no one answered. Called the hotel direct from my cell phone - no one answered. When we went downstairs - 3 people were sitting around ??? The pool area is terrible. The bottom of the pool was dirty and the water smelled! The hot tub and sauna area is all torn up and a big mess. Should have been blocked off if they were working on it. Not a very pleasant stay. Would not go back to this hotel.
