CrossFit 514

We were on vacation in Montreal, but jonesing for a good sweat. So we headed to CrossFit 514 for a Saturday morning team WOD and some open gym work.Put simply, I'm a big fan of this gym. They essentially have 3 workout areas. On the first floor, there are two areas with plenty of floor space and various, typical CrossFit equipment. That includes rigs, lifting platforms, bikes, an Assault Air Runner (very nice to have), rowers, blocks, GHDs, a rope, parallettes, gymnastics equipment, and a bunch of other goodies. On the second floor, there is a simple open area, where I expect they do yoga, and other open floor gymnastics activities. All things told, this is a very well stocked gym, and it's very clean.The coach that we interacted with was very friendly, and the members were welcoming as well. As far as I can tell, this is a great gym to be part of, and I'd be happy to stop by again when I'm in the area.

The best box in Montreal! Friendly staff, great location and very good vibes! Everyone has been super friendly and gave me awesome advice on what to do in town. The equipment is well kept and has a great selection. Upstairs area for gymnastic too! Must-see! Will come back!

Great place to train, i am new to crossfit and a bit worry to try this sport but i found there great support with an amazing team spirit. People there will encourage you and the ambiance is so friendly. I like the music they play in the gym and i like even more that the sound is not too lound, just perfect to put you in the mood of training. Coaches are great and wilk focus on you they make sure you got the technique right! Also the method of payment is impressivly flexible, and the webapp is well done, it makes it easy to reserve your class. i love the place and i strongly recommend it

Honestly I love this place.We started the crossfit, the teachers are amazing, everyday is a new challenge.You have also other classes like spinning, or endurance workouts.You can make an experimental class.To buy the best option, check their website.Also to schedule the classes I use the app, is really practical.To park: you can park on the street easily (morning) for free. Pay attention in the signs.I highly recommend.

Super motivated coach and owner. Xavier is always in a good mood and encourages everybody whatever their level. The workouts are varied and the coaches spend time to show proper technique by decomposing the movements. People are friendly and there’s no competition atmosphere which could be intimidating for newcomers. Equipements are well maintained and diverse. There’s enough space for 16 people max at a time. All and all its a great crossfit box!

This is a great Gym! Excellent coaches with experience and attention to detail for a good and safe technique. Bilingual. Friendly and motivating atmosphere with lots of space and clean equipment. I highly recommend this gym to people of any fitness level.
