Recreation Facilities | Cape Breton Regional Municipality also referred to as CBRM, is a regional municipality in Nova Scotia's Cape Breton Island. It is the second largest municipality in the province. According to the 2006 Census of Canada, CBRM's population is 102,250. In 1995, the government of Nova Scotia sought to reduce the number of incorporated towns and cities in the province through amalgamation. The municipalities from which the CBRM was created include: the Municipality of the County of Cape Breton, the City of Sydney, the Towns of Glace Bay, Sydney Mines, New Waterford, North Sydney, Dominion and Louisbourg.

Cantley Village Playground
Park recently underwent significant upgrades to include a fully accessible playground. The park also includes a walking track, baseball field and court for basketball and road hockey. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash!

My daughter absolutely loves it here. Its convenient to have a walking track as well. Definitely one of my faves. Accessibility friendly :)

Amazing play ground!!! Very soft landing for kids of they fall. Many different activities including jungle gym, merry go round, swings, basketball, walking track, rock wall, slides, monkey bars, soccer fields and baseball diamond. Various age groups.

Excellent playground for the kids, large in size and has a smaller older playground nearby as well, 2 minutes walk

Best children's playground in the area. Amazingly well designed with lots to do, and many of the parents that you'll meet there are very friendly. I highly recommend this as a spot to take your kids. They'll love it!

Great play equipment and walking track but field gets very swampy and wet easily.
