Mr Soot Chimney Sweep

Wasn't sure if we could use the fireplace when we moved into a new house. David came round, checked it was safe and gave it a much needed clean. Also gave us lots of advice. Really friendly and helpful. Worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself. Would definitely recommend him and will use him again. Thank you.

I was absolutely over the moon with the company and with Peter that came out to clean the chimney. I was so happy , impressed and couldn’t believe how well mannered , excellent vand explanatory with what he was going to be doing . This is the first time that I have ever heard of this company and was I so impressed with their customer service and support from the company. I have used another company who was so ill mannered and he didn’t even bother to inform us of what he was going to do. When he had finished he told my husband that it was up to us to dispose of the waste and I could not believe what he had said. Mr SOOT said that they had to remove the waste which was a total shock to us because how much the first company that we had used said it was up to us to remove the waste. I would recommend Mr Soot to anyone who is looking to have their chimney cleaned because you won’t get a better job done to a very high standard and the quality of their work is 150% plus. This is going to be the only company that I will be using from now on. So if you require your chimney cleaned don’t look any further than Mr Soot because you get an absolutely amazing, wonderful, explanative and brilliant experience and the customer service is of the utmost important , amazing and extremely exceptional. I can’t recommend Mr Soot enough, incredible service, great advice and a lovely guy!David is genuinely passionate about his trade, he gave us hints and tips on how to burn fuel efficiently and properly to prevent problems, how to maintain our fire in between sweeps and also taught us the top down method of starting the fire which has really made a difference to how quickly the stove starts kicking out the heat. Absolutely brilliant company. I cannot recommend Mr Soots high enough. Very efficient booking system via the website, immediate response, lots of information on their website. We are new to a wood burning stove having moved into a new house with one already installed. David provided me with a chimney sweep and a full check over. He even talked me through how to light a fire correctly and made one for me... even left me some kindling free of charge.Top bloke and company and will be using again. 5*

Fantastic service. Efficient, friendly and helpful. We booked an early morning slot and the job was sorted before we started work for the day. I was expecting lots of mess but they were really clean and tidy. Excellent process for booking online and email communication before and after. We even got a text reminder on the day as Ising how far away they were and expected time of arrival. Can't recommend highly enough!

Absolutely fantastic service. David was incredibly knowledgeable and could answer every question we had, which says a lot as we’ve never had an open fire before, so we had plenty of questions for him. He was very friendly and explained the ins and outs of everything, so we knew the most effective way of lighting the fire, keeping it going and putting it out. David left the area completely spotless, you’d never have know he’d been to sweep the chimney, despite several bucket loads falling down during the sweep! I even messaged him afterwards to ask about a new ash pan, to which he replied promptly giving me advice of what to do and where to look.I’d never have expected to learn so much while just having the chimney swept. Recently had a visit from David, he was on time, very efficient and knowledgable. Very clean & through. Knew alot about our burner so gave good advice. Would have no hesitation in recomending.
