2023: 3/5-The food is quite good HOWEVER they do not give you much in terms of quantity...the take out container I got was only half filled with goat while the rest was just sauce, LOTS of sauce...for what you pay for the product which is already pricey, I expected more...a shame as both the Mango Lassi (5/5) I had was top quality (best in Barrie in my opinion), while the goat (4.5/5) was nice and tasty...will not go back due to the LACK of food you get as other places in the city with great goat, give you much more in terms of quantity and their quality is top tier. If you do not mind the lack of quantity though it is nice goat (with some nice heat to it as well). :)

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I ordered manchurian and chilli paneer. As you can see in the picture the quantity was less than half!!! And it was embarrassing because I actually packed it to take to my friends house. I cannot believe the quantity!!! And the paneer was stale/hard probably either super old. You had to bite so hard into the paneer let alone break with a spoon.

We enjoyed the nan and tikka masala. Biriyani taste was bit different. Taste like too much spice but Nan was really good.

Edit- dinner tonight yummy but they couldn't separate a bill. Lost a star. Previous- I had a vegetarian lunch with an order of paneer butter masala by skip the dishes. It was so good I ordered the vegetarian dinner that night.

After reading so many great reviews had to try this restaurant. Placed a take out order for a vegetarian meal that had 2 small potato samosas, rice, daal, paneer, salad and a desert (gulab jamun) . Very flavourful and filling. Also ordered butter chicken and masala Naan. The butter chicken was a bit pricey compared to other Indian restaurants in Barrie. Could have used a bit more chicken for the price to be honest however it was sooo good. Very flavourful! The masala Naan was outstanding! Can't wait to order more food from here. Best Indian restaurant in Barrie hands down!

I ordered vada pav from barrie location for the first time. I have had food at daal roti on other locations and never got disappointed but here in barrie i would recommend don’t waste your money because the vada pao was so stale and bad that i had to vomitt and all my money is wasted. The container and my hands were all full of oil and the oil was so gross smelly i can’t explain. I had to garbage right away. Very sad

Definitely must try for Indian food if in or around barrie. For me their tandoori rotis, dal makhani and butter kaju are must have things. You can also try kathi rooms. Only downside, less tables so get your reservations for dinner on holidays, else by walk-in it is difficult to get table.

We’ve been here for the first time. We ordered paneer kathi roll, chana masala, garlic naan and laccha paratha.Chana masala was great but we didn’t like the naan and paratha at all. The size was small and it was kinda burnt.Also, kathi roll was not upto the mark. Lots of cabbage in the roll to fill it.Paan kulfi was 3/5.

This place has amazing punjabi food. My favourite dish is Paneer lababdar and Roti. The quantity of food is great as per price. Customer service is great! Must visit if you’re in Barrie and craving for punjabi food. ☺️

We visited Daal Roti with friends and tried Pav Bhaji, Paneer sabzi with naan & Dry manchurian.Pav bhaji tasted average & was little salty.Dry manchurian was amazing- just like Indian style.Best part was the sabzi & naan- tasted really good and loved the flavours.Ambience is perfect and food also tastes good. Good place to dine in with friends & family.
