Moody Park Arena

Decent sized Park with several paved trails, a dog area, outdoor pool, ball fields, Splash Park, playground, and a youth center. About half of the park is covered with trees but still open with lots of areas to picnic or relax in the shade. A bike trail runs across the park.

It is so fun to go ice skating with some friends here and is very cheap too!!!With the renting of the ice skates, I paid in total less than 5 dollars.There is even an area for children to play hokey.

My daughter（Chloe P） has been here more than 1 year， all the instructors are so supportive. Monica who is program coordinator, she has been doing a great job, and she is always there for help. We have tried so many community Arenas like Copeland in Burnaby or oval in Richmond and other private clubs . Moody park is the best one ever, we are appreciate for their help and support:)

We’ve rented the rink here many times over the years and always had great experiences. The office staff/management who take your phone calls or answer emails are pleasant and helpful(Lisa, Shelby, Ron), and the ice attendants who work the arena at night are also super helpful, friendly and professional. The facilities are always clean and in good repair, the ice itself is pretty good too. We’ve also rented Queens Park Arena multiple times and had very similar experiences. These older arenas may not be as shiny and new as others in nearby municipalities but they’re definitely worth the money imho, and the people working here provide great customer service and are professional to deal with. New West is lucky to have such fine people taking care of their ice arenas.

Great rink for lessons. All the team (instructors admin skate shop) all very helpful. Monica (supervisor) is super, great with the kids and always around to help instructors/kids or answer parent questions. We have taken lessons in 5 rinks aross metro Vancouver and Moody is my favourite for staff, and my sons for popcorn post lesson!

Came ice skating here with my friends…they got all selections of hockey skates and figure skates. The people who work here are very friendly and supportive. Specially if its ur first time skating.

Very helpful staff and a nice place. Don't forget your gloves and rain or snow pant and jacket.

Love this rink!. We organize weekly hockey pick-up games here with Hockey Community and the ice quality is great! My kids have skating and hockey lessons here and the instructors are patient, friendly and very helpful. Always been a great experience.

I love their staffs. They are all so nice to kids and friendly. They love kids and all so professional!. My kids loved their instructors and they learned a lot. Best skating place in BC.

I like this park very much, I honestly think this is a great place to go to spend an entire day with friends and family. It is awesome for having a picnic with your partner, doing exercise, give your pet a walk take your kids or just have some fresh air for yourself.There's this area which has an outdoor pool which is very small but amazing for the summer time. The place has lifeguards and some aquafit classes which are so fun, I've tried some and it makes you feel so energetic at the end of the day. You can register online for this or you can walk by and ask for a membership pass.The park is always nice and clean and there's a playground for kids, an entire space to have your pets without a leash and another area where the kids go and play football, they even do games in there.And during the winter time, it is a great spot to take pictures, lots and lots of them, especially around the clock. That's what my sister and I did a couple of days ago when the city had so much snow.The area will be always clean, so, I'll give 5/5 stars because everyone tries to keep the park clean.Thumbs up!
