Peking Garden Restaurant
So we wanted to try a new place. On the west island,( pierrefond ) and came across this jewel. The staff are outstanding & friendly, and the food, is one of the BEST ASIAN RESTAURANTS. If you are looking for a great place to eat. And not too expensive. You got to check it out.

Asked for no chicken in the chow mein, and ended up with no chicken in the entire order ( It included chicken fried rice ). Pineapple chicken was amazing, fried rice was ok, wonton soup was good but the wontons themselves a little thick, chow mein was good but the broccoli florets were way too big. Noodles were too soft but that's my fault for using takeout. spare ribs were flavorful but a little dry. No regrets in ordering but just needs adjustments here and there. LOTS of food. Good prices.the order was for a 2 person meal at 36 ish dollars, you could feed 4.

I had their food on ubereats once and told myself I need to try it out at their restaurant cause it was so good !! Went with a couple of friends yesterday. We had their special combo. Came with soup, dumpling, general Tao, beef satay, veggie stir fry and their special fried rice for 28$ each (we were 4)! Everything was delicious! Their beef satay had pineapple in it which was surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend this place for your go to take Chinese food or to go with large group of friends! Can’t wait to go back!

Food is very average. The place is very dirty, the carpet in the main room is gross you can smell it, looks like it has never been cleaned. And i wish i would have went to bathroom before ordering as i woulda just walked out. Also seen the waiter just flip the nap after other clients instead of changing it.

service was very unkind. surprisingly rude waiter! . Price went up and quality and quantity down. I was 20 years regular customer and too sad that I can't have same food and services. never go back

First time Jan 2021. We had wonton soup, egg roll, spring roll, cantonese shrimp chow mein, peanut butter dumplings, and general tao. Soup was nice, but the wontons were too thick. Chow mein was good, just wish they cook the brocolis less, we like them more crunchy. General tao was one of the best in town. They don't dough" it up like some places. The peanut butter dumplings were ok. The egg roll and spring roll were a big hit. We've been back a few more times

Went there for Father's day, the food tasted great, better than Kam Fung at Brossard, I would come back on a less busy day tho because we had to wait for about an hour and fifteen minites, but the restaurant was packed so I understand. Definitely would reorder the peking duck wraps, mapo tofu and the sauteed water spinach. I would not re order the mayonnaise shrimp and pork unless you like greasy food. The food quality compensates the waiting time :D

The food was rather bland and tasteless. The service was quick, but they were very rude and it felt like us eating there was an imposition. The waiter was very snappy and spoke impolitely. The restaurant itself is pretty run down (paint peeling on the walls, etc...) and could use some fixing up to enhance the ambiance. Prices were fair but would not return.

My family and I have been going there for years and we enjoy it every time. They have a wide variety of dishes for every category: seafood, chicken, beef,porc, vegetarian. You're bound to find something for everyone! We've always enjoyed our meals there. The entrees are fantastic. We often order the vegetable dumplings (which come with an addicting peanut butter sauce) and almost always order the hot&sour soup and they're so good!! We also had the corn & crab soup this time and really enjoyed it. Oh, and definitely take the kan shao shrimp. The flavour is delicious!The prices average around 14$ a plate, but they're meant to be shared.The restaurant itself is spacious and they recently cleaned it up so it's quite cozy! The staff is also nice and we always enjoy being greeted by Michael!I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good Chinese restaurant!
