Never make an appointment with this doctor, but receive call today that I book it on September 1. Weird and strange. I don't trust this kind of thing.

What kind of nonsense is this. My family doctor sent a referral to discuss my issue. Dr shins office calls me saying they have a cancellation and wants me to do a colonoscopyright off the bat. Sorry I don't feel comfortable just jumping into a procedure without taking to the specialist first. I said I want to talk to her first and just to talk to her is a 9 month wait. Canada's health care system is a complete joke. Trying to cash in on lost covid time I see and bypassing protocols.
