Pho Thu Do Restaurant
Definitely one of the better bowls of pho I’ve had in Canada. The broth is very tasty and traditional but the meat was just okay. Medium size is actually quite a decent size and it’s under ten bucks. They also have Vietnamese coffee and crunchy spring rolls. Friendly staff.

If I can give zero for food, I would.We ordered special pho in large, and another pho in small. The amount of meat was the same with both bowls. The only difference is the noodles.The worst part though is the fact the soup was could for both of the bowls ordered.I certainly would not recommend this to anyone going to Ottawa or to locals.

A great bowl of pho for a great price. Tasted similar to many other places but still pretty good. They are open late compared to other places in Ottawa and is a good choice for good food

Amazing service and delicious food, what more could you ask for? Staff are friendly and attentive, and the tea is to die for. I ordered the #54 vegetarian noodle soup (hủ tiếu chay) and it comes with a medley of vegetables plus two types of tofu. The broth is flavourful and there are ample sprouts and basil to customize your experience. Everything came quickly and when I laid my chopsticks across my bowl, the table was cleared quickly as well. Overall an excellent experience and I will definitely be back for more!

The best service you could get from a pho restaurant. The owner is very attentive to your needs. The quality of the broth is unbeatable. I've tried nearly all the Pho restaurants restaurants in Centretown. The broth reminds me of the street pho in Hanoi. When you don't need to put anything in the broth except is when you know that the taste is up your alley. I strongly recommend this place to pho experts or beginners.Ask for the Bun Bo Hue. Another hit on the list!

I don't think I've been to any restaurant in Ottawa more times than Pho Thu Do. It's about time I give them the review they deserve. Being Viet means Pho is a staple for me but it's hard to find one as authentic and delicious as Pho Thu Do. The broth is rich in flavor. The ingredients are fresh. And the proportions are perfect. Ever since I was a kid, the staff has been super friendly and the service phenomenal. If you're looking for pho, look no further.

We were a large group with a fair size order, and I have to say how impressed I was with service. It's was getting quite busy, but these guys were working hard. We had a couple people who were a bit demanding from our table, but the staff continued to serve us well.With inflation and rising food costs I was shocked at how big the large size pho was. I sampled some of the regular broth and found it well seasoned. Better than a lot of other pho restaurants I've been to. The satay broth was a bit too intense for my tastes and not the type I've had at other pho joints. The noodles were the right texture and there was a good amount of meat.This will become my go-to for pho in Ottawa.

Best restaurant in the city for pho and vermicelli. They’ve been open since 1994 and I hope they continue to stick around and thrive!!

Pho Thu Do Restaurant
Service was good but the food, at least mine was… not even mid. I ordered noodles with beef, chicken and shrimp. The noodle was overcooked so it basically was falling apart. I had to eat meat + veggies only. Meat wasn’t well seasoned, it tasted like… well like nothing. First time seeing a restaurant using chicken breast instead of thighs. Was pretty dry overall. Spring rolls were fine except a bit too stuffed with noodles so they could save on other stuff like meat & shrimp.Probably won’t go back though. But the waitress was nice. Pretty pricey for what it is.
