Nice Nails

I booked a set of gel nails prior too my wedding as i was recommended to use this location by a few people. the people are nice, but not very conversational. My nails looked okay, but not at all like the picture I showed - the colors were all wrong, after asking for a change more than once I didn't want to bother again. I requested gems be added to the design (Charged an additional $30.00), and when I asked that they place them differently than how they had them I was told that I was picky. They didn't do any cuticle prep on my nails.After my wedding i went back in to have the nails removed professionally - while getting the nails taken off they burned my nails on every finger, more than once. They didn't take any time to make sure my nails were in good condition when completed. they were filed uneven and looked terrible. They also left a fair amount of the gel on my nails. after leaving the store my nails were sore and irritated. I had to file them myself when I got home. now a whole month later, my nails are still red where the fake nails were, and are now lifting from the nail bed.it looks as though i may have had a one off experience as other reviews on here seem to be good - one last thing is one of my bridesmaids went here to get a gel top coat on her nails and left with bubbles, and hair dried into the polish.

Was charged extra for long nails?? Ok but make them long then!! I chose original length and he kept cutting them after they are very short and still chatged for long..unsatisfied over priced!! How do these classify as long? Or 94$ ??? Inaine will not go back! I get 3x that length for 65$ in red deer

Very easy to make an appointment and I never leave disappointed. The whole staff is very friendly and do great work. They are always accommodating with my wants and needs. Very up to date on all the trends but can also bang out a classic style with no issues. The pedicures are also amazing, I love the calf massage after a long day of standing behind my chair. I highly recommend Nice Nails.

I've had manicures done many times and always had a beautiful job done, but today I had a pedicure for the first time at Nice Nails, seriously the best pedicure I've ever had. I would give their services 10 star's if I could, highly recommend

I made an appointment for gel nails with a white tip. Pretty basic. I have seen many beautiful, perfect sets from them so I was confident in their ability. However that changed when they started to do acrylic after I asked for gel. They quickly adjusted but not without first telling me abruptly that it will cost more since since I didn't tell them I wanted gel, even though that's what I booked. That was fine, I don't mind paying more for what I want. But my confidence was further shattered when they only applied clear gel. I confirmed that they understood that I wanted white tips. They said yes and that they build it on after. But then they told me I couldn't have white tips because my nail beds are too short. I've never before had any issues. I trusted their process still but maintained that I want white tips. Then they did polish over the gel. That's when I understood why they didn't want to do what I asked. They had to fix the polish several times and still it came out splotchy, uneven, and had squiggly lines. In addition there were bubbles in the gel, dips in the middle of my nails and they were done at least 3mm from the cuticles (which were not prepped) making them look grown out already. Some of the tips were also lifting as soon as I got home, allowing dirt to get lodged between my natural nail and the tip. That is dangerous and can cause an infection. They also left polish all over my fingers. I haven't had my nails done in 7 years and it was quite the splurge. I went home and cried about them and how terrible they looked.Unfortunately, I have seen them do amazing work and I would totally recommend them to most people. However when I walked in there and had to take a minute to ease an anxiety attack about wearing a mask, their attitude towards me changed. It became clear that they did not like me. I wish they would have simply told me that they didn't want me as a client rather than do a terrible job of my nails and then charge me for the service.So overall, great if they like you. If they don't like you, they will do a terrible job. That's not professional.

Easy to book appointments - I always use Google chat. Great staff, they all do a great job on my nails and I love the pedicures!!

Was an awesome experience. First time I got a set of nails without my fingers hurting after and got exactly what I wanted.
