I had the most fabulous day out with Keith! I did the Elk Island Discovery Tour and Edmonton River Valley Discover Tour.Being from Australia, it was the coldest I have ever been but to see Bison, Beaver, to snow shoe, eat cranberries off the bush and to learn so much about Native Indian history and ceremonies, made it the best day out! Keith was knowledgeable and great to hang out with.I highly recommend Talking Rock Tours!

Keith came to our school and provided an in-school field trip to our students in Grades 6-9. The students loved exploring the variety of different rock themed centres. You can truly see Keith's passion for rocks! Would definitely book Keith again! Rock on, Keith!

I am so glad that I decided to take the day off work and join Keith on his geo-educational hiking and sightseeing tour in the Edmonton River Valley. It had been years since I've hiked and spent any amount of time in nature. This experience went beyond my expectations and would not hesitate to go again. Keith is so knowledgable and also willing to continue to learn new things to add to his tour ... like finding wild horseradish plants. On that note, we had the pleasure of having Elder Fernie Marty from the Papaschase First Nation with us. He was also able to show us some berries we could eat should we ever get lost. We found and tried high cranberries, chokecherries and one other berry I think red currants. There was so much history about our First Nations Peoples that was shared as well as the history along the North Saskatchewan River, along with the geological formations you can see from different areas. Definitely a great experience and well worth experiencing!

This was a great tour!!! Me as an indigenous woman learned a lot about our cultural in Edmonton!! Never did I realize that there was so much indigenous culture rooted in the river valley of Edmonton! If you choose to join, you won’t regret it!!

We booked the Edmonton River Valley Discovery Tour for our exchange group and our students (aged 16/17) really enjoyed their time! Keith did a great job engaging them in the traditional ceremonies, history, and knowledge of Edmonton. Even though our students are not from the city, Keith explained the landmarks and history with lots of context to help them understand the whole picture. Both myself, my staff, and the students learned much more from this tour than if we had done it solo! Keith was also very responsive in helping us set up and customize our tour to best fit our groups needs.

Keith took our group of 4 on a fantastic guided hike at Elk Island to discover the area’s geological and ancestral history. He made fantastic connections to his own Métis heritage and to the greater land. We also learned lots of the history of the Bison in the area as we spent a great 4 hours with him.

Happy to get Keith to run a snowshoe tour at Elk Island NP for a group of German visitors. It was informative, educational, and interesting. And the mark of a good tour is when the guests kept talking about their experience on the bus back to their hotel.

Keith is a fantastic guide and highly knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning about the ancient history right in the river valley. We especially enjoyed our time in ᐄᓃᐤ (ÎNÎW) River Lot 11∞Edmonton's Indigenous Art Park.

What an amazing time with Keith! My girlfriend and I had the most fun, informative and knowledgeable time on our tour. We saw wild Bison and also Elk! Keith went above and beyond of what would be expected of a tour guide and learning about Keith's First Nations Heritage was fantastic, as I am a foreign worker in Canada, I'm very eager to learn about this countries history, both good and bad. Thanks again Keith, you're a legend. Much love from Mark and Karen (I already forgot the native way of saying thank you, sorry!)

This tour came to our small school for a field trip. Our grade 8's and 9's thoroughly enjoyed it! The tour guide is well-spoken and knowledgeable. Having mini stations for the students to explore is really helpful. I highly recommend!
