Installed Gentek windows 4-5 years ago on the main floor. After a prolonged cold snap in Alberta a window in our house cracked. Unfortunately Gentek only covers manufacturing defects (like inadequate stress relieving during annealing process) for one year on the glass. The Plygem windows installed in the basement 1 year earlier have no cracks. Plygem 1 - Gentek 0.
