Went with a small group for work a few weeks ago. We were 6. The food was ok. I was expecting a bit more given the price. Service was just ok as well. Had to ask for new drinks a few times and some water as well. Overall just average

First time here. We had tasting menu 1 and 2 on a Saturday night. Great way to sample a lot and less decisions as the menu is extensive. The food was great and just the right amount. Loved the music, decor and the service.

UPDATE:After chatting with the customer care folks, they made it right, the 2nd time around the meal was absolutely perfect. It was just amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and the food was superb! The manager Richards and the waiter Steven were both amazing. We had a great evening. The overcooked steak was a one-off and they made it rightLove this place!Old review:We went for the steak and sushi experience, I was super excited about it because the pictures looked delicious! The steak was so underwhelming. It was overcooked, three slices had pink and the rest were grey, I asked the waiter to check with the chef about the steak and I wanted to be as polite as possible because he was super helpful and kind, he said the chef said it's a thin cut so some parts of the steak will cook faster than the rest, so some parts are well done and the rest is rare???He asked me if I wanted to keep it or send it back but I felt bad sending it back so we ate it

Hands down: one of the best Nikkei restaurants in town. The ambiance evokes this very strong Japanese Influence met by a DJ serenading us all with some on-point reggaeton. I truly enjoyed my dinning experience. In a restaurant like this, I sincerely believe one should let the kitchen feed you whatever they think it's best. That's why I went with one of their tasting menus. Food did not disappoint.Areas to improve:-timing between plates-hostesses were borderline rude, whereas servers were simply great, attentive, efficient and genuine.

My friend and I went for brunch on a Saturday. They offer a bottomless brunch option, which we took. The food we had was delicious, cocktails well-crafted and a decent selection of wine. Some of the portions of the food were a tad small for the price ($65 for food, $50 for bottomless brunch so $115 plus taxes for this experience.) However, this is downtown T.O. so to be expected. One thing they could work on is the music at brunch. Club/EDM for that time of day in that setting (the restaurant is so nicely decorated) does not match. They had an ambiance dancer and she did her best to flow to that music. Given that it is a Japanese/Peruvian fusion place, I would have expected some music along these lines. Then again, if you take advantage of the bottomless brunch or come at night, the music isn't a focus any more lol The servers are very professional and explain each dish to you, some even complimenting your choices and relating their favourites. All in all, a nice experience.

I probably had everything on their menu. But the best dish would be is the ceviche! Great choices and the drinks are a good collection too. Great atmosphere, very hip and vibrant. Can be very loud, but I did not mind. Great food and the timing is perfect. Staff are very attentive and honest. Nat is an amazing and kind coordinator.

Chotto Matte was a great experience. Food was really good but different. Drinks were amazing and creatively presented. Atmosphere was pretty good. Make sure to book way in advance.

The food was delicious and the ambience is delightful. While I found the tasting menu was a bit too much food to eat, I enjoyed experiencing the wide range of flavours on the menu, and preferred some dishes to others. Next time I’ll probably order a la carte now that I know what I like but would recommend the tasting menu for your first time. The dessert platter was my favourite and extremely tasty. I enjoyed the drink that was recommended to me and the service was great too :)

The place is really beautiful, I thought it couldn’t get better than the interior but the patio is perfect for a sunny day! The food was well presented, delicious and the host and server were very polite and welcoming! Definitely recommend this place!
