Bo and the CENTEK team were friendly, professional, cost-effective and very capable in their knowledge in and ability with vintage electronics. They restored my Electrohome Circa 75's whole insides including the turntable. Everything works smoothly and sounds heavenly. Thanks CENTEK!!

STAY FAR AWAY from this place. They took my equipment to repair and after two months of not returning my calls and having no idea where my record player was I finally got an answer from them. Filled with excuses, can’t find the part, parts is back ordered, technician is sick, we’ll come soon but never do. There is zero understanding of how to run a business and no professionalism.

They are the best in town. I have seen people from all over Canada and USA send stuff to them for repair. Very reasonable fee. Any job big or small, they do them all, from solid state to tubes, betamax to BluRay.

No minus 5 stars??? Where do I start, and please read the whole thing it's worth the money. Probably could be a defective item I purchased but if it was they should of been able to fix it.My Denon receiver broke last spring so I brought it to Centek. Onced fixed and quickly to my surprise 3 days, I got it going but something wasn't working right, my TT worked great for the first day than nothing, so I thought it was my TT equipment, didn't think to much of it until I got the receiver all hooked up properly 6 weeks ago. YEsss !I sit down ready to watch a movie and than the same problem occur. Stops completely and cant turn it back on. At least there shotty work was backed by their warranty so I brought it back.A week later I called to see how things were going since I hadn't heard back. I was told that he didn't know it was a rush". WOW I'd hate to know what a rush is.Another week and half later I call to know how things were going

Went there to get my Projec-T RPM 1 turntable motor fixed. They did a great job had it fixed in a couple weeks, which is a feat as I could not find anyone else in Ottawa that could even find the parts. Great work.

I had an old Sony STR-6800SD with a blown fuse, non working lights, and something wrong with the voltage for the dial lamp. Bao told me to come back in 1 week, and sure enough, he replaced all the parts, found the burnt out diode and got it up and running on time! Amazing work and timing. Usually with old equipment, it does take time to source the parts, so I never expected it to be done in a week.

Bao is the best stereo repair guy in Ottawa by far. I have a lot of vintage gear and have engaged his services several times. He can fix just about anything.
