Mo.Mo Beauty Nails

I’ve been to Momo Beauty Nails a few times to get my nails done and am always pleased with the results. If you show their nail artists a design you’d like, they’ll try their best to match it which I really appreciate. It might also just be by chance, but more than once I’ve been able to book with fairly short notice and the staff is always accommodating upon arrival. I also got to try their hydrating facial. I was a bit apprehensive at first as I have fairly sensitive skin but was also pleased with the results.Edit: Queenie did my nails recently and she did fabulous job. She was also very thorough and walks you through each step of the process.

My daughter and I decided to try this business for the first time for our first seasonal pedicure after being disappointed with a few other local businesses, based on all its good reviews. So glad we did! The owner and all the ladies there are so kind and the place is very clean and beautifully decorated. The pedicures were great and well priced. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to others in the area to try . Don’t let the upstairs building location from the exterior deter you. Inside it’s absolutely lovely and short walk from Sheppard subway station.

I came here to get a gel manicure and pedicure for the first time, and at first everything went well, they did a good job on the pedicure and the gel manicure looked great. The nail tech was able to incorporate a design that I’d had in mind really well and I was super pleased overall (see first picture).HOWEVER, when they were removing the previous gel manicure I’d had on, instead of waiting for the gel to soak off completely, the tech used an electric nail file to file off the rest of the shellac. I didn’t realize at the time, but she’d removed quite a bit of my natural nail and my nails are now super thin and damaged as a result, now that I’ve gotten the previous manicure removed properly! It also didn’t last very long - because my natural nails were now so thin and the shellac was very thin on top of them, the nails started breaking ~1.5 weeks into the manicure, whereas I’d kept the one I’d done previously on fully healthy nails for more than 3 weeks with no breakage. My nail beds are super damaged now due to this poor removal (see second pic). So if you go to this place please insist on no drill when removing shellac! The drill should only be used for hard gel/acrylics! I honestly don’t know what went wrong, maybe the tech thought it was hard gel since I’d gotten it done elsewhere but I know I told her it was shellac. I suspect I’ll need a couple of months to grow my nails back to normal and I hope there is no permanent damage. I am very disappointed.The pedicure was very good though, and the actual quality of the manicure seemed good as well, although as I said 1.5 weeks later my nails were breaking because they’d filed off my natural nail so I’m not sure if that’s why. That’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars and not 1.

I came here for my friend's bridal party and the owner really went out of her way to make the experience very special for our party! You can tell she really cares about her clients. Our nails were fabulous too! Incredible colour options and talented designs. I'm also indecisive and they are great at providing recommendations, suggestions, and/or improvising. Thank you so much!

AMAZING experience. Walked past this place and seen their sign for more than a year and kept meaning to check it out. Read all the reviews on Google and finally had a free day, so I knew I had to go. Everyone was incredibly friendly and kind. So much patience and help when I was picking out my colours and I never felt rushed. There are lots of nail salons in the area offering similar prices but this place (in my experience) beats them all. High quality work in a clean and relaxing environment. Even their basic" pedicures include a foot massage. I will definitely be returning. Happy with the manicure

Love my nails!My nails actually weren't perfect the first time around, but the owner was determined to make sure I was happy. Any mistakes were fixed quickly and I'm very happy with my nails now. The Hydrating facial was extremely relaxing and did not affect my sensitive skin. I had my sister’s wedding the next day and my skin was brighter and very hydrated. Highly Recommend this facial and this nail salon. We also had other facials, manicures and pedicures and waxing (as a group). It was also very clean, Comfortable and didn’t smell of chemicals. Thank you to the wonderful, flexible, professional, kind, caring and accommodating team at Momo! We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend this place!! The service at this place is so so nice. The manager was very sweet and made sure we were being properly accommodated. The whole staff honestly. My bf got a pedicure and enjoyed the experience very much. I got gel and was very thankful that they took me in, even though it was last minute. Thank you so much to Kimmy for the pedicure, my bf was very happy! Definitely set the bar high as it was first time :) And thank you to Quinnie for doing an amazing job with my nails. She was super gentle and friendly. Will definitely be coming back!
