I'm a realtor in Kelowna and I called Okanagan Appraisals an requested an appraisal last minute for my clients purchasing a house. An appraisal was necessary because the house my clients were buying in Joe Rich was so unique. Okanagan Appraisals did a wonderful job, fast efficient and reliable. My clients were thrilled with the thorough report and please to see they had purchased the home for the right price. Very happy with their work and would definitely use them again.

Expensive and unprofessional, not on time , racist and unethical. Worst experience ever !Location of the property was a high point that should have been taken into consideration but no , not by Okanagan Appraisals !As long as you pay them ( and fast ) close to $ 500 …then … this is what matters to them !Worst communication ever !I DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!

As a mortgage broker, I am very happy and simply cannot recommend Okanagan Appraisals and Chris enough. They managed to accommodate my appraisal request with a very small window of time to complete when I had a new client show up with 2 days to remove subjects. I understand the majority of the reviews are based on Chris and I wish we had him appraise my home based on 'his reviews'. Unfortunately we were sent Darren Zovko from Okanagan Appraisals. We found Darren very cold, unresponsive to communicating and unfriendly. He seemed rushed and in a hurry to leave. Unfortunately we were assigned Okanagan Appraisals by our bank so didn't have a choice of who we could use. Over the years I have had several appraisals, and this is the first time my wife and I couldn't believe how we were treated by the Cold Front appraiser named Darren Zovko.

I have been a mortgage broker for 10 years now and have ordered LOTS of appraisals. Okanagan Appraisals has always been there for me and offered appraisals in a timely manner and with reasonable fees. Never taking advantage of a busy market and up charging clients on appraisals.

Was very disappointed by our appraiser. He seemed annoyed that our bank sent him out again as our banker was shocked by the appraised price because he has seen the houses around ours sell around 3M$ and the appraised amount for our house was only 900K. I do not recommend Bob as he was not friendly, was rushed and didn’t really interact with us. He was also unprofessional with our builder. We have informed our banker to not use them for the future.Update: after getting sent back to our house again, he raised the appraised price to 1M$, I have looked at the report and he missed the #of bedrooms and bathrooms in our house… what kind of appraiser miss calculate the rooms/ bathroom of a house. He said our house was a 5bed 2 bath which was wrong (7beds, 4baths). Total disappointment, do not use this company if you have the choice. I really dont understand how they got great reviews…
