Club sandwiches are really good (5*) and their brunch buffet was really awful (1*) ! Cold, overcooked, dry, and tasteless. So I give a 3* review.

Palace Restaurant The
A good, local place to eat. Sometimes the food could be a little better but for a small town eatery I think it's good. The staff are friendly. I also have fond memories of coming to The Palace with my Gran and Nana when I was a little girl (sitting in the smoking section, I'm old!) and just hanging out.

The waitress was pleasant and professional. The food was above average even for a burger platter. In these times they had strict policies in place to help keep us all safe. There was also sanitizing taking place as well as social distancing. Would definitely suggest to anyone seeking a great meal. In a friendly clean atmosphere.

Yummmmmm we had breakfast and it was perfectly delicious! Fresh decaf coffee piping hot. Wonderful, friendly staff! Prices are very reasonable . Thumbs up from the whole family. Place doesn't look like much from outside but clean and good hearty food. Huge inside would be nice for parties. And the bathroom, though not updated, was spotless and smeĺled slightly of javex.

Fantastic Shrimp..torpedo style..I can not rave about it enough!!@ love them. The fish and chip are so good, fresh fish..you can't miss these choices. Well worth coming weekly to Glencoe

We enjoyed our trip to the Palace restaurant very much. The staff are so friendly, they made us feel right at home. The food is great! We had the buffet when we were there. There was a salad bar to start.. lettuce, a few kinds of dressing, toppings (like tomatoes,egg etc.) As well as potato and macaroni salad, pickled beets and pork & beans.. The hot buffet offered shrimp, fish, roast beef as well as potatoes, rice, carrots. The dessert section had pudding and jello. I am sure I am missing some items... there was so much. Can hardly wait to go back again.

This is my review prior to calling the restaurant extremely disappointed. I've had their breakfast and thought I'd try the lunch but not sure I will again. For 14$ a sauce and more fries than a kid could eat should be included with the chicken fingers. Don't even get me started on the lettuce. Also make sure to ask for sauce on your sandwiches because the clubs don't come with that either. Seems to be a waste of my time.
