I honestly wonder why my husband and I didn't take a look at reviews before settling for this agency because they are absolutely and clearly so unprofessional and lack empathy. A bedbug infested apartment and we are being told we won't be able to move out until our contract expires, like WHY???? Why should we endure the bugs till the end of our contract plus I'm also an expecting mother, this agency should be reported to whoever!

We’ve been with them for 4 years, first in Killarney Gardens: great clean apartment, very reasonable rent, perfect location, very responsive management. They took care of every problem in a timely manner, we got our full deposit back when we moved out.We upgraded to Baylor townhouses because we needed more bedrooms, and because of our positive experience with Lakewood agencies.The townhouse was in a bad shape but they promised to fix it and they kept their word: new carpets, new flooring, fresh paint.We’re so grateful.

wish i could rate 0 stars, had a viewing, management was rude and stopped replying, cancelled our viewing less than an hour before. very foul and unprofessional

Beaver Hill Apartments has rodent mice infestations for the second time in one year Lakewood agencies is very slow to react and take care of the problem. Head office is lazy and don't care about your problems and will only send someone to take care of it if more than one person complains. Trying to talk to someone is a chore, when u leave a message no one gets back to you, takes you going to the office to get your point across and to talk to someone. Will never recommend these places to anyone. However lake point 2 manager is awesome she always tries to go above and beyond for her tenants and does everything in her power to get the job done right the first time

This place is very sad. I'm been here for 1 year now and they rushed me in and every time I asked for a repairs and they tell me They have to wait or put a workorder in. I buy the stuff and they're so cheap they can't reinburst me for the things that I repair in my home My dishwasher broke it's been a month I'm moved in like I said 1 year ago I've been waiting for a kitchen window frame screen. I've been waiting for a Back Door screen in a front door screen and it's pretty pathetic already may. Were you both the outside the fixing up of the outside? But they don't really care both the inside.

No communication with management leading to poor treatment of their tenants. Tried to charge me for damage by previous tenant, even when asked multiple time to fix. When tried to sublet was told I had multiple applications and I was good, to find out after I had moved all my belongings out none were accepted and I had to pay the next months rent. When moving in I was only informed the evening prior to possession date my application was accepted. Moved into a filthy place, and the cleaners they promised only came a week later and didn’t do what I asked.

I live here for 5 years, the service is awesome, and the problems you saw, is some tenants do not treat their building well such as throwing garbages etc, but compared to other apts, this building is most cleanest apt, especially for old building. For the pool, it opens earlier depending on the weather such as if it gets hot constantly, it opens earlier such as May, or June, and the pool opens on time for most of time. If thunderstorm is coming, pool closes which shows that they care about our safety. Rent is so reasonable, especially with pets, No pet deposits required!! They allow BIG DOGS!! no discriminated against size of dogs here! It is best apt! I have no complains about this!Since previous caretaker was fired or let go, they hired new one, and I realized that new ones is making difference.

My girlfriend and I applied for a unit, and instead of asking what happened in our past which could have lead to issues with credit (went on long term disability to have my leg amputated and in turn some things had to suffer financially) they just deny you. This is the problem with no face companies. Even with a guarantor, who they didn't even look at us for to apply. Can see why your reviews are 1.8, you'll except old age pension but not 2 employed persons. Good luck

I can't speak for the others here but my experience dealing with Lakewood Agencies has been nothing but positive from the start. I rent an apartment at weatherstone place and the price for the quality of apartment is very reasonable compared to many other places in Winnipeg. Before I moved in they cleaned the apartment up, put in brand new carpet and painted all the walls. It was like moving into a brand new apartment. The resident manager at this property, Breanna is always helpful and kind. When there's a problem or something needs fixing she gets it done right away, you only need to ask once unlike some of the other places where the landlord couldn't care less. It's a nice clean and quiet complex, and i'm very happy with the management. Not sure what the other people on here have been dealing with but that's not been my experience at all. If you're looking for a place to rent I'd look at either weatherstone place or wickam park as they're both managed by the same person. Clean, professional, and well priced.

The Apartment is nice enough, however the company and the resident manager's that have been through the place are an absolute joke. So unprofession and seemingly very poorly educated. Where do you find these people? Had to fight for 3 years to have faulty windows and doors replaced, and it was only done because the city enforced it. And they upped the rent more than the legal amount each year with actually doing any work on the buildings.This company does not care about the people that pays it's bills. The tenants!
