Krista McGinn was absolutely amazing. We were first time home buyers and Krista walked us through every step. She went above and beyond her job as a realtor. I must have messaged her so many times and she was always there to answer questions and give us suggestions.When we found the home we loved she fought for us as if it were her own. She genuinely cares about her clients and wants you to be happy. I honestly can't say enough good. She was amazing.

Krista sold our house for us. She was very easy to communicate with and worked hard to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. Her attention to every detail is refreshing and I’m sure it helped sell our house.

When people ask us how we choose Krista as our realtor it was a simple answer. She was our friend! We first meet Krista 3 years ago as first time home buyers and it was more of more of a here you help them I don't have time for them. From that moment we were able to turn our dream of becoming home buyers into a reality. Over the next 3 years we had always maintained contact with her sending occasional greetings and check-ins on how the market was. We hired Krista after viewing several of her past listings and liked how she expertly presented each one. Krista was smooth, understanding, and VERY perceptive. Sharp as a tack. Krista went through our house and understood who we were, and what we were doing. She actually got involved in the reno with suggestions for better results. Krista did not pressure us on getting us signed up with paperwork and legalities, instead she looked ahead at the timeline, and carefully analyzed the sale scenarios. Krista fell right into the places she needed to be, like hiring a crazy good photographer and video man, Tyler. He has to be one of the most talented people I have met. His photos and video work were CRAZY good!! The final video actually brought me to tears. Tyler definitely played a HUGE part in the success of this sale.So Krista gets started with Tyler, she was like a racehorse out of the gate. Warning…if you are going to work along side Krista, drink your coffee, and keep up, LOL. In a nutshell, she and Tyler absolutely SLAMMED the photos, video, and ads!! Amazing!!The house was staged, and we were now ready…Now Krista Goes into “analytical mode”. Every aspect of the current market with everything that was happening at the time was considered.Then we were live. Now, when you sell a house, its is high stress. Krista measured our stress level, and capability to make good decisions. Krista suggested different scenarios, and even “nudged” us in the correct direction. She was compassionate to the human factor for the deal, and understood with clarity how to proceed.To sum up, It was a REAL pleasure to work with someone on her level that teams with you for the same result. Originally i had been working with another realtor in Peterborough to buy my current home as well as a rental. When the decision was made to sell the rental property a year into covid i didn’t understand how complex the process would be, especially while trying to make it as least disruptive as possible to the tenants.I had contacted the original Realtor but I wasn’t getting a solid answer to a basic question, what’s the value of my property?. Just working off a standard percentage on top of the original purchase price didn’t do it for me as the market had been doing better through Covid. They suggested that i give them a price to list at, but I was paying them to perform an appraisal which was covered in the commissions that would have been earned. I wasn’t the expert on current markets,I wanted this to make sure that the house was priced on the higher side so there would be less showings and displacement for the current tenants due to new covid protocols (isolations etc).After a few calls with the original realtors I wasn’t feeling comfortable moving forward with them so decided to obtain a second estimate, I found Krista Mcginn while I was searching for local Peterborough Realtors.Krista was able to give me an accurate Property value that reflected the current covid market value and indirectly prevented to many showings from a listing price being too low. What can I say about Krista?? She is a very warm and caring person and genuinely cares about her clients!! We met Krista while purchasing our retirement home. This ended up being a very stressful process but Krista was there for us every step of the way! She answered all of our questions and walked us through all the steps. She is not afraid to be firm when she needs to be and always had our best interests at heart! We can't thank her enough for her positivity and good nature!!! Thanks Krista!!!
