THE GOOD:He comes highly recommended by real estate investors.THE BAD:I have not experienced that same level of service to be able to recommend Ryan.First, I'll start with the most recent frustration that came to my attention today. I purchased a property where Carson Law was the sellers lawyer. I was informed that Carson didn't discharge and delete an encumbrance on title for this property from years ago. I'm currently in the process of refinancing the property and because it wasn't discharged years ago, my refinance may be delayed by a month which would cost me an additional $400 approx in mortgage payments. Not a huge deal, but not great, especially after my the experience I had below earlier this year:The second issue occurred earlier this year when I had questions about the purchase of a property that I enlisted Ryan Carson for. After closing there were some questions that came up due to the lender making a mistake that Ryan didn't catch. It was like pulling teeth trying to get details about that mistake and about other numbers that seemed off as well. To my knowledge, Ryan didn't review the numbers in detail (neither at the time of closing or when concerns were brought to his attention) despite my mortgage broker and I asking him to do so a number of times. It went on for the better part of 6 months with no help or answers from him that satisfied my concerns.I ended up hiring another lawyer and paying an additional fee for them to review the numbers that Ryan didn't. It turns out there seems to be another mistake that was missed.THE BOTTOM LINE:Carson law was involved in two deals of mine and both have caused me frustration and money that I believe could have been prevented.Maybe the issues I experienced could be chalked up to bad luck (we all make mistakes), but the poor customer service I can't make excuses for. I don't feel like he had my best interest in mind and isn't as thorough or helpful as I would have hoped.Having enlisted Carson to create a corporation and purchase a multi-family building, and being a real estate investor myself with other opportunities to work together in the future, I'm disappointed that I can't confidently have Ryan Carson as part of my real estate investing team" or recommend him based on my recent experiences."

Sept 18, we used Ryan for real estate. Made 2 errors that cost us time, extra travel and stress. No one ever apologized for the mistakes. Would never use again.

The real estate team, in particular Stacey and Cassandra did a fantastic job as we approached the closing date.I would recommend this law firm based on my experiences with not only this transaction, but in terms of getting some business advice, getting a will drawn up, etc. Great job and went above and beyond to answer my many questions and concerns.
