We simply adore our new sunroom!We had 3 different builders come out for an estimate and only Art met our requirements. He was willing to compromise and find reasonable solutions to make our sunroom to our liking. He is very approachable and accommodating compared to the competitors who only questioned us why we wanted certain features. We are very picky about quality and craftsmanship and Sunspace delivered exactly that with utmost attention to details. Now we can enjoy our backyard without the pesky mosquitos, wind or rain. We've been wanting to have a 3 Season Room for years! Through our research we met Jackie & Art & decided they were the people we wanted to work with. We made the right decision! Installation is immaculate, we are thrilled with the finish product and we know we will enjoy this enclosure for years to come! We have mixed feelings about the experience! First before signing the contract we asked our lawyer to review the paper work and his answer was.. “really nothing to review.. the only thing is the product name the size and the price.. basically you’re taking a chance “ but after seeing so many good reviews, we decided to give them the job.The product is very nice and the installers know how is right up there.One issue is that they utilize kind of green lumber not manufactured beams, and the results are showing during the install where they have to use twisting tricks to make the beams fits. As a result a few months of drying and the gap’s around the windows become quite uneven.One window came in opening the wrong side. It took 13 months to finally have it corrected.Since the contract is lacking details, during the install, things come up they were not expecting.. as doubling a floor joist is needed here and there, but nothing is communicated and at the end they try to get more money.. suspecting that the increase of lumber price is affecting the bottom line. As a tradesman myself I was there for most of the project and giving many hours of help, and during the floor install, I insisted of having a second layer of plywood. I bought and paid for all the material needed to meet building code requirements and was going to install in the evening. They insisted to help and do it before they leave that day. Since it seemed appropriate for them to help after all the help I was providing, I was quite surprised when Art brought this item as an extra. It took less than an hour. I agreed to pay an extra sum for some flashing material that was needed to replace the skirting material that was destroyed in the process.So in all I give them a pass mark “80%” and would suggest if you’re investing this kind of money to expect any extra to be highlighted estimated and approved as they arise not at the end of the job. Art knew he didn’t have a leg to stand on, and accepted my offer to pay for the flashing.

Nice family business with high quality parts and installation.Art and Jackie fought hard to get our permits pushed through. There were no issues with the building permit or the inspection after the installation, as Art had a superior design from the start. We did require a variance for our zoning permit though, as we were about a meter and a half too close to the back fence. Art got us a variance for the permit.Kyle and Alex did the installation of our deck cover. It was very apparent that they were highly skilled, and the installation work they did was spectacular!I would highly recommend this company.

Art, Jackie, Kyle and the rest of the team were amazing to work with. Art was able to come up with creative design to maximize our space. The window design is also incredible and we can't wait to enjoy our 3 season sunroom for many more years to come. Worth every penny!!! This review is quite overdue as we had this done May 2021.
