cute dessert place that’s open late! the menu is huge, so you’ll definitely find something you like. the mango in particular is always tasty and fresh, which isn’t the case for a lot of dessert places. highly recommend the young coconut jelly, glutinous rice, and vanilla frost.

Huge disappointment. Though they don’t advertise as made from scratch but I had faith and it was a let down.Ordered almond/sesame soup and ginger soup with sesame rice ballsBoth are way too hot to eat. I like my food hot but this is just way too hot. It’s been 15 mins and it’s still too hot to eat and I’m skimming the top.The almond/sesame soup taste like it’s made from concentrate and too sweet. The almond soup is more pudding consistency than soup. Watch the 2 videos. Sesame soup was more okay, still too sweet and taste like it’s from concentrate.Another miss is that they use paper bowl.Giving it a 2 star instead of 1 bc my uncle said the ginger soup and sesame rice ball is good and enough ginger flavor.Definitely will not be back.Heads up, they charge $1 for using credit card.

Enjoyed my experience very much! It felt like a delicacy and grass jelly is way tastier than it sounds! Service was good and the place took safety seriously and was very clean.I got the mango with Sago and grass jelly and it tasted divine. There were chunks of mango in there and I don't know why people are saying the servings were small! Sure, it's not cheap, but I couldn't even finish that whole bowl on my own, even though I wanted to keep eating. This isn't gelato, this is something special and unique.

Dropped in this evening after dinner. Wonderful desserts. Tried the Mango Pancake and Mango Pomello Sago which were both delicious. Even tried durian for the first time. Very acquired taste indeed. But the space and staff are friendly. Will be back to try other desserts and snacks.

If you like HK desserts, this Sweethoney location is a solid choice. The mango was perfectly fresh and sweet and the 3 desserts we tried were great.

Disappointed, and unfortunately, it brings down the Sweethoney brand quality. First, despite dining in, the desserts were served in some cheap plastic container, which is akin to a take out container, as well as utensils that are take out like. It takes away from the taste and also the experience. Second, along the same lines as the experience, the location is small and not welcoming in terms of the lighting, furniture, and arguably the staff as well. Last, the quality of the food was poor. As can be seen in the video, soup dessert lacked body and content - felt like we were being served watered down dessert. The relatively high prices of these desserts were not worth the poor quality and quantity of the food.

Quite broad menu selection and service is nice here. Closes pretty late so it'll be a nice place to dine-in to stop by for some dessert. I ordered an almond soup and sesame rice ball with ginger soup. The serving size is quite filling per person for a after-dinner dessert and price is fair. I will definitely reduce the sugar level for my ginger soup next time as it's pretty sweet for me personally.

One of our favourite weekly goto places for desserts in Coquitlam! They have everything you find in Asia. Great variety of hot and cold desserts. Super friendly staff too!

it was a good place to be in but the staff was irritated that we stayed longer in the cafe while we took pictures as we browsed on their extensive menu. for that -3 stars. and while she was alone we saw her just stand there are take multiple selfies as well.their menu is based on what they already have. it's a mixture of the basics: soup/milk (almond etc), redbean, taro, coconut, mango (fruits), rice balls (sesame..). online you can basically just mix everything if you know what they are doing.we ordered red bean + grass jelly and grass jelly + taro in vanilla sauce. red bean + grass jelly was not good at all. it was basically luke warm and stale like it has been sitting on room temperature for a long time. i thought that red bean would either have been at the very least cold or hot but they didn't do anything with it. if felt like they just scooped it up from a container (in room temp) and gave the paper cup to us. grass jelly + taro in vanilla sauce was way better! the vanilla sauce was iced and when they served it cold the grass jelly complemented the whole texture and sweet taste of the others.we have a burnaby location but we came to this place thinking that we could maybe try it and review it. but it was lacking. i wanted to eat also their deep fried snacks (takoyaki, chicken karaage, and curly fries) but we were put down by the price and the experience we had with the desserts. we wont be coming back here since we know there are better places out there that can do these treats as well and maybe better. even if they call themselves Authentic Hong Kong Style dessert place. sorry.
