Reasonable prices for quality Asian buns.The sweet ones aren’t too sweet which is great and rare these days.It’s busy but that’s normal with a place that is popular and has tasty food.

Looking for creative HK buns?Check out the Baker Duck! This is an affordable Chinese bakery at Denison Centre that has a wonderful assortment of HK sweet bread. It was really busy on a Saturday but I was ecstatic get get my hands on these:- Garlic Lobster Bun ($8.99) with a full tail- New Orleans Fried Chicken Bun ($2.80)- Chicken Nugget Burger ($3.99)Flavours are OK at this price point. Offerings flew off the rack like hot cakes even before reaching displays. Fresh lobster buns were the most popular with some folks waiting almost an hour; hence the recent price increase.Will I be back? Probably if I’m in the area. The packed shop is not for the faint of heart.

It was a long lineup at a Easter Sunday late afternoon. I bought few speciality breads and a dozen cakes. Everything were freshly made. Bread is as usual so yummy. Cake is delicious and affordable! Highly recommend this place!!

Amazing Hong Kong style bakery buns with exceptional quality at great prices!! Collective feedback: Egg Tart $1.90 - I literally crave for this the moment I finished it last time, 2 fresh batches came out when I was in line. Egg Salad Bun is delicious, the bun itself is yummy and the lettuce gives it good crunch, it was a perfect lunch for me as it’s so filling. My friend said the curry beef bun is the best he’s ever had. Everyone lined up for the fried chicken sub and lobster sub!

Black Sesame Peanut Mochi - infused with a roasted, aromatic black sesame flavour and paired with roasted peanuts, which amplify each other's flavour. Along with a nice sweetness and coconut flakes, this creates a deceptively simple flavour combination that blew my socks away on my first bite.The sandwich tasted fresh, but the overall flavour and proportions left a bit to be desired.Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!

Delicious and high quality ingredient Hong Kong style buns with a unique twist. The only issue with this bakery is that it gets very crowded (small store), you have to wait around for certain popular flavors to get restocked, and the cashier line up is long. However there's a good variety of flavors and reasonable pricing. The most expensive one is understandbly the Garlic Lobster bun which is just under $10. But the other buns are comparative pricing to other bun bakeries which are around $3-$4 each.

Busy Chinese bakery! Lineups are long… their offerings are a bit different than a traditional Chinese bakery… have some more meat sandwich type buns. Their highlight seems to be the lobster roll… $6.99 for a full lobster tail!

Located within the mini mall, on the right of the food court with all the seating is this bakery full of cheap and good eats. We got 7 items for only $25-30! Mostly everything was delish! The only things I would pass on next time would be the scallop bun and lobster roll. They were 30% bread, 60% veg, 10% of the actual seafood. We went on a weekend around noon and they didn’t have that big of a selection, so definitely come earlier if you want to try more out. I HIGHLY recommend the purple yam bun! Just know that it has a small layout so it’ll be frustrating to navigate around people and cashing out takes a decent amount of time because they pack each of them individually at the register. A great spot for unique takes on conventional Chinese bakery buns and pastries. They have things that include lobster tail buns, Montreal smoked meat buns, honey chicken and cheese buns, and more! Quality is really good and the portions are big for the price. You can get a whole pineapple bread loaf for less than the price of a much smaller pineapple bun at some other spots. Only caveat is that it can get extremely busy and chaotic, especially on weekends. Would advise you come on a weekday to avoid the huge lines.
