Lina's, Italian Piazza

I was really excited that a new Linas was opening up, but this is not the place. The hot bar staff are beyond rude. I was simply inquiring what pizza they had on offer and the one worker starts yelling about how the pizzas were a special order and not for sale. It was extremely uncomfortable. I don’t know why one would feel the need to yell something that could just be politely explained. Won’t be coming back.

Pastaboy From Oz is Calgary's best Italian food, hands down. I've followed Christopher Hyde around Calgary starting at Lina's in Britannia and now to the new Inglewood location. The squid ink pici octopus ragu is unbelievably good. Everything on the menu is incredible. Pastaboy has become a monthly outting for us and we can't wait to keep going back.

Bought the mild Italian sausage to cook at home and it was so good. Dare I say better than Spolumbos sausage ?Nice to have a coffee and puruse the shop. I've had the single slice pizza for lunch before and it was really good too.

Cute cafe, restaurant, and groceria.Stopped here for a cappuccino to walk around Inglewood with.It’s a good addition of a grocery store in the area.Service was good at the cafe, she was knowledgeable and made a great coffee.Will definitely be back to try out the restaurant half

I have visited this cafe multiple times and while it was good initially, my recent experience was disappointing. During my last visit, I ordered two lattes to enjoy at the cafe. However, they were served to me in paper cups, which was not the norm as they used to serve it in mugs. When I brought this up with the barista, they simply poured the lattes into mugs without offering any apologies for the mistake. As shown in the photo, the presentation of the latte was also lacking.

Lina's suits this Inglewood space really well. Their selection of specialty foods, fresh pastries, coffee, Gelato...etc is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood.YYC Hot Chocolate Fest 2023:The Trevor 1800/ Tiramisù Hot Chocolate was delicious, but large! I could only get through about 80% of the drink, but you definitely get your money's worth. The mascarpone is truly decadent, and the drink finishes sweet.

Went there to grab a quick afternoon bite.Overheard the owner or manager being extremely rude and disrespectful to an employee. Berating them and discrediting their experience. My wife and I were genuinely surprise and caught off guard from how rude this owner / manager was.Maybe if you paid your employees more they wouldn't all be struggling." Calgary is also not the most expensive city

I know this a speciality italian place. However, at this location the past staff had mentioned awhile back they will take into consideration adding some plant based milk options. I just went there yesterday to follow up and the not even added nor much milk selection. Their produce section is severely lacking. A small portion of guacamole is pricey as well. I can't even buy a few items there before heading to a grocery with more selection. They certainly excluded clientele who are interested in plant based options in their cafe and grocery as saw remotely few options, except some baking items supplied from Kashew bakery which was a bonus. But honestly, there really wasn't more options in terms of grocery items and eatery. I cannot eat just plant based cakes all the time . Get with 2023 Lina's. I know it's an Italian speciality but c'mon the area it's in should evolve with the times!

Pizza is delicious, fantastic coffee shop. Only reason it didn’t get five stars is lack of tip option on debit for the hard workers. That says a lot about the leadership and how much they care about their employees. Who carries cash anymore?!
