The Sportsmens Den

I've been coming here for 3 years now. Yes, none of the employees trip over themselves to help you, but I like that. I hate been hounded when I'm just looking around. There is always someone available to help you when you need it and they always have a good attitude. The owner is always willing to chat and be friendly. Prices are reasonable, a little high on some items and good deals on others, remember the prices are all in" which is something I love about the place. Prices are way better than Wolverine

Great place to shop, they have everything you'll need for hunting, fishing and camping and a bunch of stuff in between!

Went in today to checkout store. After 15 minutes no staff approached me so left. Was in buying mode. Not impressed.

For the size of the store, they have an amazing selection of outdoor gear. It's not Bass Pro, but i can usually find what I am looking for.

Walked in for the first time after reading other Google reviews. One thing I noticed is prices were quite fair, with the usual sales going on, and they have a pretty good selection of a mixture of everything. They may not have the huge selection of any one product type as some big box stores, but with a locally owned shop it's extremely difficult to keep a huge inventory at all times. And I believe in shopping locally where possible. The guy that runs the place (Dave, I believe), really knows his stuff, and while he may not have the ecstatic 'jump to the pump for you' attitude' that others seem to be looking for, he will answer any questions that you have. And if you shop there a few times, I'm sure they'll get to know you. Please just go up to someone and ask for something if you need it. We are all big boys here. I for one can't stand when I get employees in your face the minute you walk in the door. I'm the type of guy who will browse at my leisure, then ask for something when I need it. I bought my fishing license here, he fixed my broken guide on my old fishing rod for a very decent price, and I also picked up a tackle bag that was on sale because of the great 'ol fashioned help I received. I will be back. Thanks guys

My husband was in the store today the customer service was horrible. Was looking for scope rings and was basically ignored. Also asked to look at a very expensive rifle which he was interested in buying but again asked questions about rifle and was basically ignored again. He had a crate of ammo picked out he was planning on buying but left with nothing. Sportsmen den could of easily had a few thousand in sales from his visit but due to poor customer service got nothing

I love this little store, they have everything you could need for hunting fishing and trapping, they also have some stuff for hunting that would be 10/10 for camping, if you are into outdoors you should give this place a quick look.

Large selection of goods. I was able to find everything I wanted.Unfortunately, the 3 employees working at the front seemed completely uninterested in actually completing a sale. I was ignored for the 20 minutes I was there, even after verbally asking for assistance. AWKWARD!

For us old customers it is the clutter that is the great part of the store. The pair of Browning boots I bought there for 50 dollars remains the best single sporting goods buy of my 70 years.And you are not sure just ask. Dale knows where he hides things.
