Great store with a wide range of the fitness equipment with fair prices. Friendly and helpful staff.

Went there to browse through some of their machines. Staff seemed very knowledgeable about their products, but weren't aware of other brands on the market when presented with comparisons. I had a sticker shock for their delivery flat fee plus mileage. Delivery fee negated any possible savings of what I believed to be decent pricing. If it wasn't for the pricey delivery fee I'd have made a large purchase. Will hold off a bit to think about it as some online purchases are free delivery. I'm not brand loyal in this regard. Again, want to point out staff was prompt and knowledge of their products which was welcomed and exactly what I needed in that regard.

They have some of the best prices on most of their fitness equipment, but your shopping experience can vary greatly depending on who's working. While some of the staff is fantastic, others lack knowledge or basic customer service skills. It's a five star store with a couple of 3 star employees.

I would give this location negative reviews if I could. The customer service here is absolutely atrocious. I purchased some items near the start of the pandemic, and received a majority of them in a reasonable time frame (1-2 months later). There were still a few items left to complete my order, and I was told that they weren't brought in yet, but that I would receive a call when they did. I have been dealing a very stressful situation and completely forgot about the items, and called today to inquire about them. Trevor answered the phone and was immediately very rude. He stated that he couldn't find my invoice and so they had no record of what I had received from the order and what was outstanding. He stated that it was MY responsibility to provide them with an invoice, and that I should have chased them about this for answers ages ago, even though I was told they were overwhelmed and to just wait for their call. He told me the store does not accommodate refunds or exchanges, and since they have no record of what I picked up he was unable to help me. 0/10 would not recommend.

The prices are great, best in the city insofar as I could find. Customer service has always been subpar. Not bad but, always feels like I'm interupting. Based on my own experience in customer service, I see the signs of staff that work for a bad manager. So, enjoy the prices. Don't expect much from the staff. They will always help you load so, that's a plus.

Really like this store, friendly helpful staff, great prices and access to a large product selection however, 3 stars because stock is always an issue. Products are frequently out of stock and orders usually take 6 - 8 weeks to receive. So while I'd like to buy and support local, the cost savings usually aren't worth the wait for the products.

I bought a set of power blocks from here that were on sale. This manager Trevor S. sold them to me full price, I didn’t notice this until after I got home. I called them when I got home. Trevor is the one who I spoke to on the phone, he said he would need to speak to the manager and get back to me (when I know very well he’s the manager). He never reached out to me. I phoned again to see what they were going to do about the amount I am to be reimbursed, he said to come in the store. I went to the store and Trevor was again the one who was there. He told me they couldn’t reimburse me my money hut instead had to be a gift card to the store. He was very rude and didn’t even say goodbye. Horrible customer service at this Fitness Depot in Winnipeg.
