Absolutely the most dysfunctional place. Only 2 people certified to look after passport processing. Why even bother having this open. As usual longggg wait. Anything the government is involved in is a cluster F.

Super impressed with the efficiency of this Service Canada Centre! I made an appointment online 2wks ahead for a passport renewal, arrived 5mins ahead and checked in, was served at the exact appointment time, and on my way 10 mins later!

The office st Kingston is supposed open at 8:30 am. I went there before 8 am to line up. To my surprise, everything was already set up. The security gentleman was there and another 2 staff were greeting people and answering questions and helping people out. I saw smiles on every one's faces. One lady checked my paperwork before 8am and showed me what was missed and how to abtain them. The whole process is smooth and welcoming and especially professional. I was chatting with a gentleman in the line and he agreed these staff here are enjoy helping people.I am giving 5 stars. Maybe in some point in the past some visitors got disappointed for some reasons. But come and see how awesome this place is now. This place deserve a higher rating in my opinions.Update: the staff Arlee is professional, efficient and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend coming to this Service Canada passport office if you’re outside of the 10 days of travel. The staff were utterly delightful including the very helpful and warm welcoming security guard.I arrived at 0745 and there were only two others in front of me. Doors opened just before 0830 and I was getting my application processed less than 15mins later. Shout out to Colby (think that was his name?) who did a great job with my application - only his 5th one since starting the role.NOTE: I live in Kemptville. I went to Kingston because I read about the nightmare queues at the Meadowland office in Ottawa. In my opinion the extra 1hr drive was totally worth it.

Terrible experience here. Was told by the security guard" that we couldn't renew our passports since they were expired by one year we had to fill out a whole new form. And we were told to go to Kingston because Perth Service canada couldn't deliver a passport within 25 days. He would not let us go in and speak to an actual representative either. So we went to Kingston service canada and were told by the representative that we CAN renew if it's expired before 5 years. So much better and pleasant experience. She even apologized on behalf of Perth for the terrible experience. To add

I went here to renew my son’s passport. They were pleasant, helpful, and gave me good information. The passport was processed quickly without delay because of the help I received. Thank you!

My passport arrived in 3 days!!!! Was shocked how fast it was delivered. The Kingston office staff were amazing. Colby took care of me and was extremely knowledgeable. I am amazed by the customer service and quick delivery.

The staff in Kitchener are AMAZING!!! I went in as a walk in expecting to be in a huge line or to be turned away as I had gone in the afternoon. To my surprise, I was in and out within an hour. Security out front was extremely helpful and pleasant, the sign in was easy and the process was quick! I had a lovely lady named Theadee helping me out. She was super friendly and made sure I was set up for what I needed. She was a delight to chat with! THANK YOU for such a pleasant experience!!

Kingston passport office was amazing, fast efficient and security was extremely friendly. Great experience.
