I accepted Portland Chimney & Masonry, Inc bid to rebuild my unused decommissioned furnace kitchen chimney on my Historic Milwaukie Home, August 2022. Took down the center furnace chimney & rebuild using 8 red bricks. Build a new crown using a new flu pot. Supply & istall new black counter flashing set into the mortar joints. Fill thimble hole in kitchen along with thimble hole & clean out in basement using brick with mortar.2nd original chimney on outside North end of home we changed 2004 to gas insert with aluminum liner. Very professional and informative. The tech came out to sweep the chimney and inspect everything. A few weeks later I must have bumped something out of place while loading the woodstove. They sent the tech back out free of charge to put things back in place. This is a great small business and they are a great choice if you need chimney cleaning, inspection and repair.

During a windstorm we had a tree crush our Mt Hood cabin, decimating our chimney. Portland Chimney was very responsive, and had Earl come out to inspect the damage and give us an estimate for repair. We were concerned about getting the work done before winter snow began, and they flexed beautifully to accommodate. Trevor did a beautiful job on the chimney. He also installed a new wood stove, which we look forward to checking out once the chimney has cured. Kayleigh and Angelica did an excellent job of communicating and keeping the project on track. We very much appreciated all of their work.

A chimney fire right before Christmas put a damper on our holidays, and a recent windstorm added insult to injury by blowing our chimney cap off! The folks at Portland Chimney came through like heroes, and got us all fixed up in the midst of the holidays and with fairly short notice. We had 5 chimney caps manufactured and installed. Portland Chimney was very responsive and professional from their first appointment to their last. The bid was based upon the work and not the zip code and they were very fair. They were very good about calling us to notify us of progress on our work or any changes do to the weather. We will use there services wherever we can. They are the best !

The skilled chief mason from Portland Chimney and Masonry rebuilt my leaning chimney. Along with his assistant, a chimney sweep, they did an outstanding job, matching the decorative trim on the original chimney. The new chimney looks great! They also gave us some good advice about how to get the most out of our two fireplaces. The work was very professional, and they took extra care to protect our new hardwood floors inside, during their preparations, and did a thorough clean up afterward.

We had an estimate done by Portland Chimney a few weeks ago to rebuild our chimney from the roof up. The estimate was very competitive and we decided to go with this business for the work. Once the estimate was accepted, work was scheduled within a week. The crew that rebuilt the chimney was courteous, timely and did an exceptional job. Portland Chimney had great customer service from start to finish!

We had an emergency chimney repair that needed to be done for a customer and the response time was incredible! They met us on site within the hour, gave us an estimate on the spot and started the repair same day. Not many companies can and will work this quickly. Thankful we were able to keep our customers happy and avoid additional issues. Well Done!

I am a Realtor who works the east side and are used to dealing with a lot of contractors. I called Portland chimney to get a bid on a furnace chimney. I received a timely appointment and was met by Bill lee. I was expecting at least a 2k to 3k bid for the work needed . Bill assured me that it was fine and only the chimney from the roof up needs to be done. The bid was $675This does not normally happen in my line of work!
