Summer at orange door weddings planned my dream wedding in Madison, Wi. To anyone on the fence about hiring a wedding planner- just do it!! Summer made our planning experience enjoyable and simple. My parents, my husband and I hired Weddings by Nancy for our wedding in Sept of 2012. At first, I wasn't even sure we needed a wedding planner, but after picking an outdoor site for both the ceremony and the reception we decided that a planner might indeed be necessary.Most of our planning was done with Jill, and though their name is Weddings by Nancy, I want to make sure to point out that if you end up working with Jill you will in no way feel that you are not getting top notch service. I loved working with Jill.One of the things I love about both Nancy and Jill is how calm they are, they will greet you with a smile and a hug and I never saw either of them ruffled, even by my frequent changes or indecisiveness.I was nervous that by working with a wedding planner that somehow I would feel like all my inspiration that I found and wanted to implement would be changed or somehow feel less mine"

I have planned a wedding with summer for 3 daughters.. she makes the wedding day magical, and easy and organized!! Love her…. She is truly the best!!

We were married in June of 2022 in La Crosse, WI and hired Summer Snyder with Orange Door Weddings as our wedding planner. I can not say enough about our experience working with Summer. She is the best at what she does and made our wedding much more than we could have ever imagined.Summer has also worked with several of our friends to plan their weddings and they would all say the same thing about their experience. Weddings By Nancy was the BEST investment I made in my wedding! If you are thinking of hiring a wedding planner, do it and hire Weddings By Nancy. I am a busy business owner and was feeling a bit overwhelmed with all of the detail that goes into planning a wedding. It was also important to me that my friends and family did not have to work on my special day. Nancy is a very warm person and made me feel like my event was her only event. My wedding was very small and intimate but she took care that everything was just as special as any large wedding. Sadly, my parent were unable to attend my wedding. Nancy made the disappointment of this so much better. She did everything that a mother would do with her daughter during the planning process and on my wedding day. I felt as though I was her family. She was very accommodating to my availability for meetings, sometimes working late nights and weekends just to work with my schedule. She was also quick to answer my email and phone calls. She was professional in every way! Even under last minute changes that threatened to damper my wedding day, Nancy remained calm and offered satisfying solutions to any problems - truly going out of her way! Nancy and her service is absolutely priceless! I can't put a price tag on it! Truly, the BEST investment I made in my wedding! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
