Although there are many nations represented, it is great to come together and celebrate Christ Jesus as one-- truly a church in the city that feels like HOME! I love the fact I get to see family" every week (Sundays @ 10:30AM)

Wonderful experience. Worship was awesome. Preachings was engaging, relevant, inspiring and based 100 percent on the Word of God. Also very friendly and helpful people.

I have been visiting this Church on and off for the past 10 years, mainly because my mother likes me to drive/accompany her there.Let me start with the good; it's a great location, right on Yonge and close to the 401. If you are commuting, it's close to a Bus Stop however it's a small walk from the York Mills Subway Station. They used to have a shuttle service for the elderly and disabled as well (not sure if they still do). There is a covered passage that you can take from York Mills TTC/Go and stay dry during snow and rain. The music and sermons are good. They have an old school baptist vibe at times, they also seem to have a good Youth Ministry, kids ministry and nursery.Now, the not so good: Like any Church, this one has it's fair share of drama. They recently overthrew two of their head pastors in an epic coup. The worship pastor bailed amidst that action as well. You will likely hear the importance of tithing almost every Sunday. They used to live stream their services but stopped it and cut back to 1 service instead of 2. Most days you will feel like it was not worth the effort going into this place because you did not take anything back with you - no spiritual inspiration, no fellowship, no intellectual stimulus...,I am in my early 30's and am an active member in another Church downtown, I am fully aware of the intricacies involved in running a Church and hate to turn anyone away from this Church but I do owe to anyone interested in going to a Church a fair view of what to expect here. Last week, one of the elders there asked me who I was and that he was seeing me for the first time. I laughed and turned to my mother who finally understood what I had been mentioning all this time.Again, this is just my opinion and even though I did not find anything personable or relatable after been going to this place for over a decade - I hope you do. If you don't please try some other great places. I wish you the best on your Spiritual Journey!

Worship and the Word. A great welcoming place for the entire family! I have been attending Evangel for 22 years! Come join us Wednesday nights or Sunday mornings and bring a friend.

An amazing church with amazing people. So glad to be able to call Evangel home for our young family. We have quickly fallen in love with the culture and the people of the church. We would highly recommend you to come out and visit!

Evangel Temple is a GREAT multicultural church for the whole family. My kids just LOVE it there and it honestly feels like home for our whole family! The people are so warm and welcoming in any age group and we love it there!If you're looking for a home church, come out on Sundays @ 10:30am!

This church is so awesome! Such a great environment for people of all ages! Very diverse and multicultural and super easy to get to by TTC! You should definitely come check it out! I would highly recommend it!

The Spirit of God is evident throughout. It's all about Jesus. We have true worshippers in the house who are not afraid or shy to worship in Spirit and in Truth. To God be the glory, honor and all praise.
