I would highly recommend taking a web development course at DecodeMTL.The prof communicates the material in a clear and articulate manner despite the complexity of the subject at hand. The notes are extremely well formatted.The teacher (Lucas) and TA (Codrin) are accessible and super patient as well as generous with their time and knowledge!

Before enrolling in the Concordia Web Development Bootcamp, I had very little experience coding. I had only done about 30 hours of HTML, CSS and JavaScript combined. Starting this Bootcamp was definitely a leap of faith, but I am so glad I did it!Throughout the course, instructors were so helpful. I also learned to leverage my cohort, all of whom taught me so much. Bootcamp was REALLY hard work, but I made it through. Three months after graduating I am starting a really good job at an exciting company.One of the best parts of Concordia Bootcamp is Career Services. First I was paired with an excellent career coach and technical coach. They helped me polish up my CV, LinkedIn and technical knowledge and had encouraging words along the way. Next, Career Services offered information sessions with prospective employers, career fair and practice job interviews. It was through Career Services that I was connected with my current employer. I loooved so much the part-time course. Our teacher Lucas was so patient and available for us. We got help from other professionals too and actually, from everyone at Decode! They were always ready to answer our questions. Most importantly, we stay in contact online with our crew and teachers using Slack, even after our 10 weeks are over. I feel I am still supported by the school while I continue to evolve through the geeky universe. 10 weeks ago, I didn't even know how to open a zip file! Now, I can make a multiple pages, responsive website with forms, links, videos, nice design, etc! The course is at high-speed though so be prepared to do your homeworks between classes! But as I said, everyone helps each others so, no worries if you get lost at some point. What can I say more? I knew nothing and I never ever felt stupid because of it. Even if you are a beginner, don't be scared and go to DecodeMtl!Oh, et les cours sont en anglais mais les profs parlent français aussi et sont toujours prêts à répéter en français si c'est pas trop clair! :D

He will do everything he can to make sure you are prepared for the program before it begins, he will follow you throughout making sure you are comfortable in the course. But most importantly he will help you upon completion, following up with you and making sure you are doing everything you can to find a job.In 8 very short weeks I went from basic understand of programming to working as a web developer. This is an all star team, if you are serious about your goal go to Decode.But dont take my word for it, call Kevin.

This is a very intensive (and sometimes difficult) course but the instructor was great and really spends the time with individuals to make sure they're getting it.The course covers very relevant materials and prepares you to carry-on learning the necessary stuff to get job pretty quickly afterwards.If you're doing the work, you'll go far in a short time - and use your classmates too, great resources!

I'm a recent graduate from the Web Development Immersive program at DecodeMTL. First of all, i cant express how knowledgeable and passionate the main instructor(Ziad) is. He is not only an amazing developer but a great instructor. He cares a lot about every student and get great satisfaction when you finally understand the material. Secondly, you will have to show your dedication in this program. Don't expect too many lecture but hands-on non-stop workshops and cool projects. We learned a lot about thinking programmatically about a problem and the multiple steps that we might take to solve this problems. And if you cant , then you can ask the also very savvy TA's that will be in the classroom to assist you and help you understand the material. The last thing that i would like to say is that they do provide you with a very complete package in which you will learn not just the latest technologies but also the significance of how this technologies came into place in the industry. In the end, what truly matter is how much effort you decide to give for obtaining these new skills.

Decodemtl has been an excellent source of qualified candidates for my company. We are always excited to meet each of the cohorts and feel that the course gives them the type of knowledge and skills that are required to start their careers in the web programming world. Decode MTL is an amazing place.1. TEACHINGDo not underestimate it because it is not on campus. Our teacher(Lucas) taught at Concordia before. He is not only an professional programmer but a inspiring teacher!! I do respect his passion for teaching and coding.This special learning experience is very influential to me.2. ENVIRONMENT FOR ENTREPRENEURI am a student in Concordia and my major is more related to business. I find DecodeMTL can give me an awesome opportunity to meet different people. Many of my classmates already worked in the IT industry, having work experience in coding. It is a very impressive experience to talk and learn from them too.

I completed this course over a month ago and am very happy with the results. I began the class with very little knowledge and after two months was able, with assistance and a team, build a web-based mobile app. The support shown through the course and after the course has been incredible. Both instructor and director and keen on us continuing our learning and achieving our post-course goals, whether that's finding work or expanding on a project, and they do what they can to facilitate that. The course is still fairly new, but kinks are being worked out and feedback is always welcomed.
