They do not follow up with their work and quality is awful. My floor is 2 years old and needs replacing already. TERRIBLE customer service and beyond terrible quality

Nick McClymont came to the house only a few weeks ago. He visited on several occasions and even ordered full sized samples when I needed them. He delivered them himself and answered every single question we had. He had the latest information, and if it wasn't at his fingertips, he looked it up for me. I was impressed with the range of products they had to offer, but in the end it was the customer service that made me write this review. Is the carpeting (throughout a heritage house) beautiful? It's amazing! But the team who put it in was STELLAR. I've never dealt with such a team of professional, thoughtful, careful, friendly fellows in the 30 years I've spent in this house. They were amazing. I will heartily recommend Edgar and Miner and the work of the team: Totally Floored.

I was very pleased with my purchases of flooring and backsplash. The flooring installation was great but they get some stars off for tile installation and their lack of response at my complaint. I don't think the tilers actually work for Edgar miner though. I did inform EM of my issues but they never followed through. The tilers used grout at the interface between the countertop and backsplash. This is a big no no. Caulking should have been used. Because of this all the grout at the interface has cracked. I'm now having to hire someone else to come and fix it.Update: Edgar Miner FINALLY did the right thing and got their tiler to fix the problem. Therefore I'm updating the rating to 4 stars.4 years later update on our quite expensive floor. We purchased expensive waterproof laminate and the laminate tiles are coming up and separating which is not what I expected after only 4 years. Not sure if it's the flooring or the installation that's at fault. No we haven't had any major water damage....the odd spill here and there that's cleaned up quickly.

From the moment we walked into the showroom to Michael coming out to measure and bringing more samples, everything was perfect. The carpet installers were able to meet our unique needs for multiple day installation and were friendly, skilled and did a great cleanup after each daily installation. Had all of upstairs carpet replaced as well as stairs up to 2nd floor. Couldn't have been happier with results. Sales person..Mark Franklin.. was excellent . Understood exactly what my concerns were for carpet , Recommended the perfect carpet. The Installer crew was on time...efficient .....pleasant....in and out in less than a day. Job well doneThey also removed and replaced the bigger furniture pieces...a job we could not do ourselves.

He became a source of emotional support during the renovation at an extremely challenging period in my life. The home is completely renovated and on the market for sale. Edgar & Minder did an amazing job carpeting our stairs. We picked a very complex pattern and it turned out wonderful. Couldn't be happier. Mark was fantastic in helping us select the final product and it was ordered and installed a couple weeks later. Super Happy!
