Riverside Events at Northern Lights Winery

Our wedding ceremony and tented dinner was on July 19 2019. The venue is absolutely stunning. Right on the river, beautiful view, NO BUGS!, lovely greenery, bushes, landscaping. It was exactly as I had pictured it. It was elegant yet relaxed, intimate with only 35 guests, food was fabulous (loved that butternut pasta!), the wines were so good (subduction is my favourite!), the bar service staff were so friendly and professional and the event staff help planning everything was invaluable. Even a small event has a million decisions to be made and the guidance and suggestions were so helpful. Our weather was not the greatest (although our photographer prefers an overcast day to a bright sunny one, LOL), the staff were so fast to put the heaters in the tent, when we realized it was going to be a bit cooler than we expected. Since the winery had worked with both my decorator and DJ, their set ups went very smoothly. It was a afternoon and night I will never forget. Full of great food, great wine, great conversations, great music, lots of laughter and most of all, all our guests also said because of all that, that it was one of the best evenings they have ever had.
