Rainbow Butterfly Restaurant
The dim sum was ok, but not the highest quality. The peanut meat dumpling skin fell apart really easily and wasn’t pleasant. Siu Mai was delish, juicy and tasty. Also loved the hairy taro and salt and pepper squid. Everything was fresh and hot.

First time trying there today. Their prices are competitive and most of the dim sums are yummy. The service is good and fast. I will go there again definitely.

We’ve been going to Rainbow Butterfly for years. The people are friendly and very helpful. The food is consistently outstanding. Fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is light and the restaurant is clean. Highly recommended to any dim sum fans out there!

Ordered dim sum for pick up for 3 people- very yummy. Solid portion sizes, had leftovers (yay!). Ready on time and hot. Would recommend. Attached an updated price list for dim sum.

Rainbow Butterfly Restaurant
We’ve had some bad experiences in the past (hair in food) but decided to give it a try again as we miss their spicy wontons! It’s great for the price but not nearly as good as other dim sum places. I enjoyed 3/8 dishes as the majority were quite bland. My fav: spicy wontons, green beans and shrimp and scallops dumpling.

Rainbow Butterfly Restaurant
Came here today to try out since there had been some good reviews. The dry stir fried glutinous rice was greasy though flavoursome. The dried shrimp and scallion Cheung fun was nice. However both of these dishes were tainted with some grit or some sort. I can describe it been sand or dirt either from the dried shrimp or scallion since both of these dishes had these two ingredients. The fried yam dumplings were tasty though the meat inside tasted abit slightly off. They were also greasy. The har gow tasted like the ones available frozen in the supermarket. The chicken feet needed a little bit longer in cooking as the tendons were still quite crunchy. The egg tart were the best though. Fresh and just cooked. The staff are friendly however the interior are out dated. The dishes, plates and cups are all chipped and very worn and need replacing. the prices are cheap however that is reflected in the quality of the food and what they are served on. The Eastern Seafood restaurant further down the road is a much better place or the Grand Palace in the Henderson Shopping Mall. Needless to say I won’t be revisiting this place unless some drastic changes are made.
