Not the best experience buying from them but they do have convenient financing. The delivery service is not good, they always try to cut corners. We asked them to take the recycling and they didn't. They are supposed to setup the couch but they didn't. I guess they are underpaid or something and just want to go home asap. They need to find a new delivery service or fix whatever issues they are having.With our couch we also got a magiseal for 10 years to protect it. After two attempts at contacted BM, saying they said they will send the invoice to magiseal, everytime magiseal says that they never received it after waiting 2 weeks... our couch has been unprotected for a good 2 months now... wasting our investment.

The store is now called Tanguay. Some interior changes have been made and it is much improved. When you come in, you get a ticket much like you would at the license bureau. My wife and I found this new way very efficient. Our salesman Stephane Beauchamp was very polite and knowledgeable, and had a very good sense of humour. He if fluently bilingual. The store it self is very well supplied with everything thing you would need to supply a complete home. The selections are very good. We knew what we wanted when we came in, and Stephane was able to confirm availability as we wanted a certain colour of recliner / rocking chair.

Firstly I'd like to point out that this is my first ever Google review so this is pretty significant. In store customer service was decent and quick. I knew what I was going in for and purchased my new fridge without issues. February 18th my fridge was delivered with the hinges installed on the right side when it clearly stated on the invoice to install the hinges on the left. Strike one. Upon delivery, the delivery guy said he didn't have time to fix the issue. Hence service call #1. Called on Saturday Feb 18th and only received service on Feb 23rd. The guys came in to move the hinges - to do so required tipping the fridge to relocate the bottom freezer door hinges. The fridge was plugged in, made an odd sound when tipped in which case they then unplugged the fridge. Hinges were moved but since, my fridge has been running way too cold. The thermostat is set at 8 but actual temp is 0. Hence service call #2. Customer service over the phone has been awful. Reps are rude, impatient and inconsiderate.All everyone says is, it is not their department. I've spoken to multiple people about the issue and all I've been told is that a technician will call in 48-72 hours only - but the issue will not be resolved in that time frame. I'm unimpressed. At this point I just want them to replace the fridge but that won't happen until the technician comes by. Until then, this new fridge will continue to run 8 degrees too cold, freezing food and running up my hydro. This never would have happened had Brault & Martineau paid attention in the first place and delivered my fridge as ordered!

be very careful when buying new" appliances from these fraud artists. I have been caught twice buying a washer and dryer that were sold as brand new

Although I now have a great couch, it was delivered unassembled and left on the floor without legs for 7 weeks while replacement parts were ordered, which in the end, were actually not required. A minimal compensation was offered but has never materialized.While I had heard good things about this retailer, my experience has been riddled with what appeared to be apathy toward my less than satisfactory delivery.I recommend caution if you choose to purchase at Brault & Martineau.

Zero Star Rating if I could.Repeat customer, just spent $12,000 on new appliances. It took 3 attempts to receive the correct refrigerator. Installed our new $800 microwave after we purchased it on Black Friday 2 months ago (our kitchen is only now ready for the installation) and the item is damaged. Dented, scratched and the Samsung logo is partially missing. Brault and Martineau tells us there is nothing they can do after 48 hours and after 72 hours on exception. The sales person (JF) who we dealt with chose to lecture us re: the hour he spent with us in the showroom and how it took multiple attempts to get the refrigerator correct like this is somehow our fault. VERY POOR customer experience and zero accountability from the store. Store Manager Ian not helpful at all. NOT IMPRESSED and will never shop here again nor will I refer anyone here. Every time I see the dent in my new microwave I will be reminded of this extremely terrible customer experience and will be sure to continue to share this story.

By far the worst customer service EVER!!! The store director is extremely rude and disrespectful toward clients. I have never experienced such poor service. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The after sale service is absolutely horrible. The store cannot be reached by phone and when you call their 1-800 number, you have to wait for a LONG time to talk to someone and they are not helpful at all. We made a $ 5000 purchase at this store. I took the day off work waiting for my items to be delivered. They never arrived. They CANCELLED THE DELIVERY WITHOUT TELLING US! The store director did not want to admit to their fault and was not compromising or understanding AT ALL! He was willing to lose a $ 5000 sale instead of offering us a solution for the inconvenience we suffered. I felt very bad for the very nice sales rep who spent so much time with us and made this sale. I find it terrible that a store director can flush the sales rep's efforts to make this sale and his commission down the toilet at his sole discretion. We had to go to the store several times to make sure everything was okay since the store cannot be reached by phone or any other method and despite that, things went wrong. We lost an enormous amount of time and energy. Thankfully, we cancelled the entire transaction in the end and walked away. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I will never shop at Brault & Martineau again. If you want to avoid headaches and frustration and not waste your time, I would highly recommend staying away from this store!

Like others, definitely frustrated with my experience so far. First, I call to get a status on the shipment of the couch I was waiting for, for four months. It was apparently sitting sitting in a warehouse - no clue for how long. Calling BM is PAINFUL by the way. You wait on hold forever and reps sound like they would rather be doing ANYTHING but talking to you. Paid for Magiseal stainguard. Was told to expect a call 7-10 days after receiving couch. Call BM, they give me Magiseal's number. I call them to be told they haven’t received an invoice and won’t schedule anything until it’s received - rep also not overly pleasant. Their reviews seem to be even worse that BM's. Great. Call back BM and CS rep tells me that Magiseal gives this excuse to customers all the time? Really??? So now I get to keep waiting or calling to play 'the blame game'? For the prices BM charges, they need to do better with their customer service and who they contract out to!! Not a very happy customer right now.

The worst customer service ever!!! Bought a $3000 sofa which wasn’t delivered twice. Took my day off from work to be at home but it was not delivered. The customer service did not have a valid reason for the team not showing up. I booked and paid a Uhaul and collected the sofa on the third attempt from their depot.The worst…. I receive a call from them after a week and the guy tells me if I want my sofa to be delivered on this date, when i already collected the sofa!?!Worst communication policies and would never recommend someone to purchase from BRAULT ET MARTINEAU
