The store had the heat on so high, it was almost nauseating. Hard to shop and try on clothes in plus 25 degrees. The selection (of men's) was poor in terms of sizing. Almost everything was small or medium. I didn't see one 2XL of anything including board jackets. I was prepared to spend several hundred dollars on a new wardrobe, however after rifling thru rack after rack only to see small and medium-sized clothes everywhere, I frustratedly took my business elsewhere. Not everyone is 56 and 150 lbs."

ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A STORE. DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM THEM. Horrible customer service (if you can even get a live agent) and they won’t cancel any orders or make changes if you made a mistake. Never dealing with this company again.

I purchased a bike. When I had a chance to ride it, approximately a week later, I noticed the shocks or forks, in front, were making noise. I brought it back at that time, or approximately one week after purchasing it and I was told that the bike would get a tune up". They had it for approximately a week

I bought a snowboard the other week from sporting life, fantastic service from the boys in the snowboard department, Unfortunately after I put my bindings on, I realized that the board was too small. I tried to return it, and the store manager told me that it was pretty scuffed up and that it was unable to be returned. I explained that the packaging was already half ripped when I bought but it and it was still not brand new enough apparently. I never used this board once, never did the board leave my house. So the board being “pretty scuffed up”. Is a bit of a stretch I think. Should probably make some adjustments to the return policy.

Racist or stereotyping I’m not sure which word to use. In all my shopping experiences I have never felt the way I did that day , firstly Not one staff memeber greeted me on entrance because they too busy talking in groups, after calling someone’s attention and annoyed I Interrupted their convo I was then offered help.. I wanted to exchange for a larger size unfortunately because it was a gift no receipt. Although tags are attached and in the bag still a no. Fine I decided to browse I was followed around the store section by section by a white lady for no reason just because I’m Black very sad and been emotionally torn since.. STAFF NEEDS MAJOR TRAINING

Burlington store experience with my son who just discovered a passion for snowboarding…We received a wealth of general information on different items from “Tash” initially.Her presentation was on point and she generated such an interest as she communicated with us, she was very relatable and investigated what she needed to in order to give accurate information and guidance making recommendations etc. above helpful at a level we required as this was new to us. Thank you Tash for all you insight and getting us excited for this new venture!My son did decide to invest in a quality jacket, snow pants and all the equipment. We were overwhelmed with all the great options.“Brian” was on the floor and went beyond to present suitable options, even checking for stock that was not on the floor in sizes required. Thank you Brian for getting him outfitted in quality merchandise!We had such a great experience with “Cole” setting us up with the new equipment, snowboard, bindings & helmet etc. He was so patient with us being new to it all and informative. Thank you to the team for making this new experience effortless for us. Great service & great investment made in the new products we chose.

I would like to thank Alexa, GM, at the Mapleview Sporting Life location for her charisma, knowledge, kind disposition and the sense of welcome and exceptional customer service that she provided. Several years ago I was a frequent shopper at many high end boutiques on Bloor Street in Toronto and the level of service that she provided exceeded that of any luxury flag ship store that I have ever visited. Alexa is genuine and went above and beyond to search the entire basement with her team for over an hour to ensure that they retrieved the Parajumpers jacket (in a variety of sizes) for which I was searching. I was so pleased with the service that I ended up buying three Parajumpers jackets as a result of her efforts, leadership and the great team work that she fostered with her staff to meet my needs. This by far was the best shopping experience that I have ever had!! In addition, the store is also beautifully maintained, well-organized with a vast selection of quality and fashionable clothing and outerwear.

It's a beautiful store; with friendly staff. It should be named Sporting Life High End Boutique". So pricey. It was like walking through an art installation. Quite unrealistic IMO. And so many security people. Off putting."

Sporting Life is now open in Burlington.I used to go to their store on Yonge Street in Toronto. This one is much closer.Nice store. Waiting for the clearances sale on winter sports items.
