My move was Saturday. I am extremely happy with Mike and Robbies professionalism. It couldn't have went any smoother. I am still in awe at how quickly it all went. I would recommend Hoyts to anyone looking for fast efficient work...very good job guys. I couldn't be happier. I will recommend to anyone I know who is moving..Thank you, was a very good experience.

We experienced a completely positive move with Hoyt's. From estimating, packing, loading, and delivery all personal were very professional. The packing was excellent, and the workers reacted positively to any request or suggestion. Every step was done on schedule, with no damage to our belongings or the houses. I would have no hesitation to recommend Hoyt's Dartmouth to anyone.

I loved working with Hoyt's. There office staff is very friendly and helpful. I felt like part of the family there.They were very professional and informative. Steve explained what would happen and when, and what my responsibilities were as well. I never felt like they didn't have time for me. The movers were very personable as well. Price was very reasonable.Overall I couldn't have had a better experience.

I had a really good experience dealing with Hoyt's Movers. The service was friendly and efficient. The movers were on time and very helpful with the packing and loading. They catered to many of the last minute requests I had and they were professional throughout the process.Based on these observations, I would recommend Hoyt's Moving to anyone who needs moving services.I will be writing a supplementary review at the destination after the delivery/unload/unpack.

We had a good experience with Hoyt's Moving and Storage when they came to unpack our boxes. They unpacked everything and put together the furniture that wasn't completed by the previous movers. They also came back and hauled away all our cardboard and packing paper afterwards. The guys were polite and friendly and did a good job.

I manage a professional photo labs.In the past 20 years I have used Hoyts for moving our very sensitive equipment. This past week we hired them be part of a major move and expansion. Not one single piece was damaged.Some of these pieces weighed 450 lbs! Everything was done on time with a crew that smiled and were courteous and friendly.What blew me away was our last big push was on a Saturday. They had to move some very heavy pieces. The lead persons name was Kim. She was the GM of the Dartmouth company! The bottom line is that these guys get it done professionally and on time. You can't ask for any better then that. I would recommend Hoyts or Burgess any day.Thanks to Kim and all the crew who made our new adventure trouble free .

I'm glad that Hoyt's successfully delivered all my items from Halifax to Hay River. Steve was very responsive with my queries, since it was my time using a mover. The 3 staffs who went to my apartment, was very knowledgeable of what they were doing and did help me pack with stuffs. I will surely use the service next time;) Thanks Steve & to your team!

Thanks to Hoyt's Moving and Storage for helping make such a trouble free move. The movers showed up exactly when you said they would and were very courteous. They provided wardrobe boxes and offered to set them up if I didn't know how.With the quick work of the three crew members the bill was under the estimate... despite them having to wait at my new apartment since the keys weren't ready when we arrived.Thanks again!

International move. Total and complete disaster. We had no choice of vendor for our move, if we had we would have dropped them immediately.Six weeks later, still no cars. They have no idea what they're doing. Zero follow up, wrong documents were accepted, no responsibility is taken there by anyone. SO many excuses for everything it would be comical if it weren't draining our bank account.We have filed a complaint with the BBB and spoken with an attorney to try to recover the financial losses we have experienced due to their neglect.We're holding our breath on our household items, which were dragged across the driveway and left in the rain....When we say disaster" it's not an exaggeration. UPDATE - Jan. 6/17 Gone back and forth with the Quality Control Manager (Carrie) and still awaiting for a response from December. Have not heard from her since. Still can't believe this process has taken this long!!Crew moving us out of our home did a great job, the crew moving us into our new home - not so great. One of the crew members didn't look like he hit puberty, not really what we wanted to see when we are paying thousands of dollars for a moving service. The crew was unable to get two of our couches into the basement, took full advantage of our hospitality (drinking beers, taking lots of breaks inside the house), and by the end of it got tired of the job and put a bunch of boxes that we had labelled for other rooms (upstairs and downstairs) and stuck them all in the living room. Not impressed with the claim process either. We had denied the additional insurance coverage, assuming the crew would take a standard duty of care moving our possessions. My husband witnessed them drop our couch twice in the driveway while moving it. They didn't take drawers out of the dressers when moving them upstairs, letting the obvious happen (drawers opened while going up the stairs and smashed our walls). All very careless and signs of them just rushing the job. The claim process through Campbell Brothers (their head office?) has been painful. They have been unresponsive, dragging everything along, and will not give us a fair claim settlement. They won't even respond to emails to us asking them to review our claim settlement. We had to pay someone else on top of the thousands we had spent to move our couches in the basement (a job they should have been able to do, they are the professionals after all), and we also have damage to our dining table that they are only willing to give us six dollars for? Ridiculous. If you are looking for a good customer service from beginning to end, I would NOT recommend this company. They were great at the start, up until they got paid, and then ignored us the rest of the way. Not how they should be running their business. Would not recommend to anyone... there are better movers out there.
