Fitness In Place
I have started to work out with Vysh since April of this year. I was someone who was attending a gym fairly regularly before the pandemic. I am a health care worker and the last couple of years have been extremely stressful. I was having some health issues from the lack of going to a gym. So I decided the next best thing was to figure how to work out at home and still get the good benefits of exercise. Exercise was really helping with my mental health and other health issues. Working with Vysh has helped me to get back on track with my health and strengthening my body to deal with my job and my health. Vysh is willing to listen to what my needs are, advice me on what I can change and help me figure out what works best for me. Vysh has worked really hard with me to get myself back on track with no judgement and pure acceptance to who I am and what I want out of this experience. I am really hoping to continue this relationship for a long time to come. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends.

Fitness In Place
I started working out with Vysh since January 2023 and I only have positive things to say about my experience. As someone who rarely prioritized their fitness these past few years, I was looking to change this aspect of my lifestyle and decided to join Fitness in Place. Unlike my previous experiences, I was impressed by the way Vysh created an inclusive, welcoming, and non-judgemental environment during our workout sessions. She took the time to really understand my fitness objectives and created a unique routine that would best help me achieve these goals. Even through a virtual platform, Vysh was able to help me improve my technique, especially in my squats and push-ups, and continuously motivated me towards reaching my maximum capacity. In addition, she is super understanding to the demands on your body each class and will modify the workout routine accordingly. Vysh has really put me on track these last four months and has made me highly confident in continuing my fitness journey life-long. Overall, I highly recommend joining Fitness in Place for its convenient platform and the ability to be surrounded by a diverse community unlike your conventional gym" environment!"

Fitness In Place
I have been involved with Fitness In Place both through group sessions and one-on-one coaching with Vysh. Something I was most impressed by was how effective Vysh was through the virtual format. I couldn't believe the small details she could notice and offer coaching on - like where my toes were in a squat - even though we were over Zoom. Fitness In Place is unique in the fitness industry: accessible for folks from different financial backgrounds and welcoming to all ability levels. I most appreciate the focus on how you can grow stronger in mind, body and spirit, as opposed to the pervasive fitness industry focus on shrinking and achieving a perfect" body that is an unrealistic and unattainable standard for most. Pat and Vysh have built an incredible community - don't miss it!"

Fitness In Place
LOVE!! Fitness in Place was an AMAZING experience for myself and my family. It provided workouts and modifications that allowed myself (a high school varsity athlete) and my mother to work out in the same class and both be challenged in our own way. There is a great community within the classes and there is so much encouragement to come as you are. Every level of fitness and body type is accepted, encouraged, and challenged. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants to feel safe and supported in a fitness space while also building physical strength and ability.

The world of fitness has never felt like a safe and accessible place for me to exist in, as someone who rejected conventional" (often harmful) goals such as losing x amount of weight or looking like a specific body type. Fitness in Place was a breath of fresh air

Fitness In Place
Thanks to the immense support and acceptance from my time working with Vysh, I felt like I was seen and heard. This is often a rarity for someone who has layers of physical and mental health concerns. I have never met anyone who teaches how to move, in a more trauma informed and holistic approach than Vysh. She really took the time to get to know me, my triggers, barriers, boundaries, and limits.Not only did she help me identify strengths of mine that I couldn't see for myself, but she helped me overcome what I thought were my weaknesses. I have a much healthier relationship with my body now, in large part to Vysh. Due to the situation I was in at the time, I had to stop my time with her. I had a lot of other things going on, but she continued to check in with me.I would recommend Vysh without a moment's hesitation, to anybody who wants to work on their relationship with their body and movement. Vysh is also a great listener and has helped support me with areas other than movement as well.If you're thinking about trying a new session, or the group sessions with her, don't think, just do it. Taking that first step is always the hardest.

Fitness In Place
I met Vysh 5 years ago, when I decided to, once again, go back to the gym. We connected right away, becoming much more than just personal trainer and client. She encouraged me in so many different ways, she showed me I was capable to lift weight, to take space in a gym (where I felt deeply uncomfortable) and that she was there with me all the way.Thanks to her, I’ve been exercising constantly since then - in different ways, but non-stop. I strongly recommend Fitness in Place, where all bodies, cultures and fitness levels are respected, appreciated and valued.

Fitness In Place
My experience with Vysh has been one of compassion, kindness, and trust. She has created a safe space for me to fall back in love with movement, and to begin to undo years of intimidation and feelings of exclusion from the mainstream fitness industry. She learns the limits of her clients and knows just when to push them. She is an expert at encouraging you to bend without breaking. She is always empowering and is able to seemingly effortlessly create the kind of environment you need for your workout- whether it’s a session to stretch and recover, or one to go hard. She has helped me build strength and develop healthy habits, but more importantly, she has helped me build a healthier relationship with myself. I am grateful for each session I have with her, and I always leave smiling. If you’re looking to build strength and resilience in your body and your mind, I highly recommend reaching out to Fitness in Place!

Fitness In Place
Although I had the pleasure of joining Fitness in Place during Covid lock-downs, my experience with FIP long sits with me. As a former athlete, Fitness in Place was a great space to get active in and find movement. Vysh and Gabby bring charisma and care that are unmatched, and their ability to make working out accessible to everyone continues to inspire my fitness journey. Fitness in Place is a growing community for all to be a part of, and I would highly recommend anyone to join who wants to get active while staying in the comfort of their homes!
