Chartwell Hawthorn Retirement Residence

I am happy and content here in my suite at Chartwell Hawthorn, with meals prepared and served to an 84 year old grandmother who is the queen of her castle.My family lives nearby, I have so many friends here, and the staff is outstanding.We have many activities we can attend, lots of musical entertainment, games, etc. to enjoy, or go back to our suite to read or nap. I especially love the Sunday Evening Chapel Hour, Bible Studies on Wednesday morning, and all-around a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Just what the doctor ordered"

I started my job few months ago in chartwell. This place is great and full of joy. I worked in many residential homes and hospitals, I never saw the take of older people like this. At this place residents lives like own house. All the staff and residents are very great. This place is perfect for our loved one.

I started working at Chartwell Hawthorn 3 months ago and I can't speak highly enough about working here. This location is so full of heart from the welcoming attentive team to our most valuable asset, our residents. I have never seen so many lovely and helpful people in my career. Everyone looks after each other and gets involved. There's plenty of activities to do and some are even lead by the residents. The inside is so bright and recently updated, so it shows very well. I was welcomed with open arms and see that for anyone new here and the warmth just keeps going. I'm very proud to work here and am a proud ambassador of Chartwell Hawthorn because of our team and residents.

My sister recently moved into Chartwell Hawthorn and our experience has been great. Our first exposure to Chartwell Hawthorn was an open house in November where we met Robert, Retirement Living Consultant. He was so friendly and informative and spent time explaining all the details of life at Chartwell Hawthorn and took time to show us suites and answer any questions we had.We had visited other retirement residences but found Chartwell Hawthorn to be the most inviting., friendly, accommodating staff, approachable management, nice warm atmosphere, lots of wonderful activities. Over several months while making our decision, I had many questions and when I phoned Robert he was always accommodating, never pushy, just took the time to answer our questions. Since moving in, Robert has gone the extra mile to make my sister feel welcome. Jay, the manager has been so accommodating as well. We recommend Chartwell Hawthorn for anyone looking for a senior residence.

Chartwell hired us on to photograph the Hawthorne location and it is quite spacious and beautiful. A far cry from the retirement residences of old this residence has everything you could want. The residents seemed really happy!

I am a new resident manager at Hawthorn (almost one year here), and I have to say that it is the best place to work. The staff and other managers are great to work with and the support you receive is amazing. When you arrive in the morning you are greeted with friendly smiles and 'good mornings' from staff and residents alike. The culture here has been honed almost to perfection. Great place to call home for our residents!!

I was tasked with starting to find out some information on retirement residences for my grandma and went to Chartwell Hawthorn for their Open House. I was a little overwhelmed with the process but the sales manager, Erin was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when discussing the different options available. She made it easy for me to understand what our options were and talked me through all my questions. The building was beautiful and welcoming and the seniors living there seemed very happy.

I started working at Chartwell Hawthorn in January last year.I have very loving co workers and our residents.When I go to I always be happy will be working because of the lovely and peaceful environment that effect my life to live with happiness as well . That is why I can strongly recommend to people to live here because of the professional team from head office to front desk with peaceful and friendly resident and environment .It is a great place to live for our love ones, from Managers and staff are very supportive and accommodating of their need.
