Da Hu Hotpot & Dimsum
Went to Dahu Hotpot for a holiday dinner and it was an amazing experience. The portions were huge and the food was so tasty and fresh. The servers were extremely attentive to our needs and helped to refill our broths frequently. Definitely get a pitcher of watermelon juice, it's so refreshing and sweet. Absolutely recommend!

Meeting friends for hotpot the night Toronto was expecting blizzard. A Sichuan hot hot pot felt appropriate!Each one got a personal mini pot with all you can order hotpot dishes from meat to seafood to veggie….great for friends gathering, plenty of Sake & white wine to wash down that spicy spicy flavour that made you sweat! Place was popular, packed the night we visited!

The restaurant is really nice and big. You order on your phone. Good selection of hotpot items. Soup bases are extra on top of the AYCE per person price. There's a sauce station and also a few cold apps and dessert. Great service. Our server was really attentive and friendly. I like that they top up your soup base with pork broth instead of water like other places. However, be careful if you have dietary restrictions and ask when they refill your soup. Some of the older servers may not be as aware. They refilled my friend's spicy vegetarian soup with pork broth but gave her a new pot after we pointed it out. Good ventilation, didn't smell too much like hot pot after dinner. Looking forward to coming back and would recommend.

Just try Dim Sum today at this place. All food are so delicious. Steam dim sum by myself which is new to us, every dishes could make sure they're hot and fresh. Environment is so relax to talk and eat with friends, and not crowded. Really enjoyable, will come back again definitely.

Da Hu offers an authentic hotpot experience for both spicy & non-spicy hotpot lovers alike.First decision walking in is to decide if you want to have individual pots or have the menu with a common pot. They are somewhat different but worth a try on each to see which one you prefer. I had individual pot once over a year ago and I came back this time for a large pot that serves four. We decided to try two broth (one signature spicy along with the pork bone broth) on a split pot.Then you need to go visit the self service sauce & appetizer bar. There are over 20 sauce options and I got a good combo of all my typical sauce mixture, everything looks fresh.We ordered a lot of beef items and all of those came out quickly (except the last batch) with good quality for each round. Highlight is the beef chin slides, looks fatty but they are very crunchy. Fish paste is another favourite item of mind and I had several rounds of that. Seafood is not their specialty (not if you don’t pay a premium for add-one which we opted-out). We just had some mussels from their seafood menu. We closed out with some fresh fruits & ice cream.

Bright, clean, elegant, open space. One of the fancier looking hot pot places I've ever been to. Incredible variety of food — fresh quality, cleanly presented, and arrived lightning fast. Service was truly excellent. Attentive but not cloying, super friendly and polite, gave great recommendations based on what we were already ordering, asked how our food was and gave us advice on the best ways to eat it, consistently refilled the broth in our pot, and empty dishes were cleared almost immediately.There are dozens of hot pot restaurants in the Richmond Hill/Markham area now, but this one actually deserves its high ratings and rave reviews. It's about $55 after tax and tip, which I thought was very reasonable for hot pot and entirely worth the price.

Need to pay for all soup base which I guess is pretty typical these days I guessBeside hot pot there are some items at front like spring rolls and salad stuff. Items are good lots of selections soup base nothing special service is okay

I recently dined at Dahu hotpot, and I cannot stop raving about the incredible experience I had at this all-you-can-eat hotpot restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable meal.The variety of ingredients available for the hotpot was truly astounding. From tender slices of beef and lamb to an impressive array of fresh seafood, there was something for everyone. The veggie selection was just as remarkable, featuring everything from mushrooms and tofu to exotic greens. I especially appreciated the separate dipping sauce station, allowing us to concoct our own unique flavor combinations. I highly recommend the snack deep fried pork slices.The quality of the ingredients was top-notch, and it was evident that the restaurant takes great pride in sourcing fresh and high-quality produce. The broth options were also extensive, catering to different preferences and dietary requirements. I particularly enjoyed the spicy Mala broth, which had the perfect balance of heat and depth of flavor.

We were a big group and had ordered multiple orders of beef early on, but the meat would come one plate at a time in almost 30 minute increments, while everything else we ordered would come promptly. We asked them to check on our beef orders and was informed there was nothing showing in the system, so we reordered. The meat did not arrive until nearly 30 minutes before the end of our time limit when almost everyone was already full. I don't know if this was their strategy of ensuring we don't eat too much of the more expensive items or not, but this was definitely not a very satisfactory experience.
