Best Western Plus Gateway To The Falls

Pros: My stay is for business. Rooms are quiet, the bedding is heavenly and the tub is a good size for a soak. I work nightshifts and the blackout curtains are great! The room has a counter and sink, dish towels provided. Huge TV. Friendly staff and housekeepers.Cons: No closed captioning on TV. The hotel could use a bigger laundry facility (there is only one washer, one dryer, $3 per use), use canister vacuums for hardwood floor (uprights don’t pick up grain) and lighten up on the COVID measures by reinstating more (than one day a week) cleaning, removing masks, unattractive notices from the walls and every door.

Bad review for several reasons. The room was dirty. The counter, headboard, door, and side tables were all visibly covered in a greasy film as if they were wiped with an unclean cloth. The Best Western Plus is suppose to be better than an ordinary Best Western... I found this hotel severely lacking. The finish around the bathroom was incomplete. Tiny bathroom, hardly enough space to close the door without hitting it into the toilet. The fan in room was dysfunctional and was blowing hot air non-stop. The room was close to the ice machine, and sounded like there was no soundproofing whatsoever, as we were disturbed several times overnight due to the noise of the machine. I called and spoke with the manager (Maria), no compensation. I was also charged full price and the pool is not functioning. We will never go back. Do not recommend. Notice the response to almost all of reviews from the owner is the same. Just overall poor experience. Poor service. Keep traveling north, there is a better Best Western farther up the highway.

Pros: New hotel, comfortable beds, great gym, friendly staff.Cons: NO pool or hot tub as advertised. It's under construction (and far from done) as of March 31, 2022. No hot meals. Price is high for amenities.As of April2, 2023 the pool area is still not complete.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It is in an excellent location if you want to visit all the waterfalls in the area or do some hiking.The room was excellent with high ceilings, modern and clean. We appreciated the extra sink and counterspace in the room (not in the bathroom) for some light food preparation as well.The breakfast was only so-so as the hot foods were all the microwaved type (sausage and sausage patties limp, eggs rubbery). They had an ok variety of other things like breads, yogurt, cereal. It was enough for breakfast but not the best continental breakfast we've had at a hotel. The staff member in the breakfast area was friendly and very efficient at filling all the empty things.Once their pool opens I think it will make the hotel stay that much better! (There isn't a lot of other things to do for entertainment in the evening in the area).I would definitely recommend this hotel!

This is a new hotel. Rooms are spacious with wood flooring and not carpet, which I like. Being a new hotel, its very clean and everything works well. The breakfasts are nice, but my kids did miss the self make waffles you find at other Best Western Hotels. The pool is still under construction, which was a bummer. Overall a nice clean hotel.

For the area this is the best hotel, located right by Timmie's and a great cafe. All new, clean and modern. Only thing that sucked was the black out curtains don't close.

Beautiful inside & out. The beds are comfie but be nice to have more than just sports channels on & news. Staff are awesome. Wish the pool worked but a great stay.

Outstanding stay here (2 nights). Rooms are large and very stylish, staff were very friendly and helpful. Would 10/10 recommend staying here if in Clearwater. 100% this is my new stop over point . Grocery store across road, liquor store 1 min away , convenience store and fast food next door if needed
