Miscommunication blown out of context. 20 years I have been going here. Work was always done well. I tried to explain myself to the owner. They weren't interested in what I had to say. I informed them I would be taking my business else where from now on, and they replied I don't need your business". Best of luck to you in the future."

This was the only place we could find that did 1 hour turnaround for alterations. They are fast and definitely rushed -there is no shortage of work for the tiny shop. We got a $300+ dollar tux shirt altered there for approx $80 (sleeves shorted and taken in). They were reluctant to take us because it was almost 2pm and we needed the shirt by 4pm the latest. She worked magic and called us at 2:30 saying it was done. The amount of relief that the shirt was done on time was immense. I cannot thank them enough. Side note - I would charge more for a rush/express service. We gave her an extra $10 at the end as thank you.

They are very fast with getting your garments in and do a great quality job!

TLDR; There was a miscommunication about the price and the owner publicly guilted me to pay $20 for 5 minutes of measurements. Sorry to leave the bad review.I asked for the price to hem my dress and the price I heard was $35 but after the measurements were done, I saw $141 on the piece of paper. I asked to confirm that it was going to be $35 but the lady said $135 - so I had misheard her the first time. $135 may be reasonable but it was above my internal threshold that I had set before going there. So I said sorry, took my dress back and started leaving. However, the owner, who did the measurements, ran out and and started saying “How could you? I did the measurements! That is work. How could you? This is a gown.”. The owner told me to pay for the measurements and charged me $20. I paid $20 and left with no alterations , but with the measurement marks on my dress. I agree that doing the measurements is work but it is no use to me as I’m not a seamstress, and with me mishearing the price I believe it is on the business. In my opinion, the owner doesn’t care about good customer service, although, reading other reviews, I don’t think she would even consider me a customer. I understand that the owner must have been hurt that I thought the price of their service could be so low, and I understand they might do good work (I don’t know) but I had a really bad experience with my interaction. Sorry.

Paid for rush alterations to be done for 2 days from drop off at 2pm due to last minute circumstances. At 4pm on pick up day, they had not even started the alterations yet. There was a rushed crooked job done on the pants and they refused to refund the rush fee even though they weren’t done. We historically had great service here but have not seen the lady who previously worked there in a while. Looks like we will need to find a new seamstress!

I'm not quite sure of others experiences... Mine was simply outstanding, Monica the owner, re-fabricated a standard $180.00 BUGATCHI dress shirt and customized it into a one of a kind work of art.My experience was one of complete customer service, outstanding quality and workmanship. She was very accommodating for my needs in timing and given creative licencing, She returned to me what is now my favorite shirt.I own perhaps 45 high end and custom dress shirts, her insight and talent took a shirt from average to outstanding. This was the first time I’ve taken an item in to be altered. I’m pretty lucky that I’m a fairly common men’s size and most things fit me right off the rack.I found a really good deal on some pants that I liked but they were too long. A friend of mine had purchased the same and had them altered here with no complaints so he recommended I try it too.I brought my pants in on a Saturday and requested to have them back the following Friday. They were ready on time and done correctly as originally discussed with no issue at all. Yes they require up front payment but I was well aware of that and it was not an issue for me.It seems to me that most of the bad reviews below were from people who wanted a rush job on a complicated item. I’m a firm believer that if you want something done right and with quality that you don’t rush it.So for me this was a positive experience. Be nice to people, let them take the time they need to do the work, and you’ll get a good result.If I’m ever in need of future alterations I would have no concerns about coming here again. I also wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends.Thanks guys!

Came in for a quick measurement. The lady at the front was very kind, very quick, and Even took my measurements twice when she thought she made a mistake. Will for sure be going back.

Terrible experience with the owner who has no manners and very bad customer service. I happen to be at the mall and drop by the store to see if my pants have been repaired, though I know its not die yet but since I’m at the mall, I would just like to ask. I ask the owner if my pants is done and show my paid receipt. She just answered loudly NO and went inside the store. Thats it, no other words but NO. NO MANNERS at all. What kind of owner is this? If only there is zero stars in order to post this.

I was very disappointed with the work done. I left 3 pairs of joggers to have the bottom elastic removed and then re-hemmed. I said that the most important thing was that the new hem be as small as possible. Only one was done as requested but the other two were not, leaving the pants shorter than necessary. Service not friendly.
