This is definitely more that a dollar store. If I can't find what I am looking for elsewhere I can usually find it here. Good selection of knitting supplies. Some wonderful clothing at low price. I got the best magic eraser here way cheaper than the original and works as well. The owner and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is a little more of a challenge than other similar stores. They also have a loyalty program you can trade in on party supplies

Cute little store that seems to have a bit of everything. They had a pretty large flag collection (random). The guy working there was super friendly!

This store has many interesting items

Avoid at all costs. I recently moved my parents into Gan and was advised by Bell that this store is an authorized distributor for Bell ExpressVu. So I called and initially spoke with Terry who’s first words to me were “why didn’t you buy locally” and then immediately followed with, “oh, so you want to set up an illegal satellite”. Very odd comments....red flag #1 but I went on to explain that I needed a dish installed for my elderly parents and would like him to simply install the dish as they were setting up a new account and I wanted to get the dish installed quickly before bad weather set in. I had to endure and listen to Terry lecture me about his years of experience and not take into account my basic questions about the install, such as where the dish would be mounted and how, where the wire would pass through the brand new house etc. Again, very odd comments made and he avoided answering any of my questions so this made me wonder if he was even capable of job...red flag #2.After a week of back and forth to get a date set, Terry shows up to the house and doesn’t even acknowledge my elderly parents and promptly proceeds into their house and walks across my parents bend new hardwood floors with muddy boots (which my mother had to request he take off). I specifically requested that he wait for me to access the installation options but he doesn’t listen and proceeds to go downstairs to criticize Cogeco’s temporary internet connections which I find in poor taste as no true professional does that....red flag #3. I meet Terry at the front door, no acknowledgement or hand shake, very rude. We go outside and he again starts to criticize the Cogeco temporary install. I explain to him that this was just temporary until they buried the line and that we focus on the task at hand which was to install the satellite dish. He then starts looking at front of the house and when I ask why, he states “when was the last time you installed a satellite” to which I state that I have done many in my time but this was a job that I wanted a “professional” to do since I had no time. Well, this couldn’t be farther from the truth because he immediately got defensive and insults me to my face, stating I was aggressive and rude. Well if asking basic questions (which he couldn’t or wouldn’t answer) and not wanting an ugly 20” dish affixed to the front of a brand new home when the back of the home was perfectly acceptable, then I guess I am guilty but it seemed to my wife and I to be common sense. It was at this point that Terry’s true colours emerged quite clearly as he verbally tells me to “go F myself”!! Really? Final straw, I tell him to get the F off my property and I returned his pleasantries with a smiling face. Standing there wondering what the heck just occurred?? Did this really just happen?? Wow...Now I’m a 46 year old business professional and in all my business dealings with clients I have never ever even considered verbally insulting a client, regardless of the situation at hand. This guy is an ignorant and arrogant hick, typical of a small town monopolistic business owner where people have no other choice but to accept their sub standard service. Well, Terry let me be the first to inform you if you haven’t already been enlightened (however my bet is that this isn’t your first issue documented), people have choices and will be more than happy to share “unpleasant experience”.Avoid this business at all costs and if you are forced to communicate with Terry or his equally ignorant business partner, ask questions and get answers before you waste time and save aggravation.
