ONE WITH NATURE Survival School

A wealth of practical logical bushcraft and survival knowledge. I have considerable experience outdoors but found a great value in the new skills and knowledge that I obtained in this first novice course. It has reignited my drive to get out in nature. Very good instruction. Well worth it!

We completed the wilderness survival program and had a blast. Vitaliy is very knowledgeable and his ability to relay not only information but to also challenge the way we think about situations was great. The course contains a wealth of information that everyone should know. It also goes beyond survival and provides you with a framework for addressing all decisions/challenges/problems. I would highly recommended this and other courses offered at One With Nature to anyone interested.

This place is unique. The instructor has a wealth of knowledge in wilderness survival, gives us the bushcraft/ survival foundation and then pushes us to use our critical thinking. I learnt so much from novice 1 and felt very motivated that I went solo camping to practice the skills. Excited to take the next levels!

Do yourself a favour and TAKE A COURSE! Vitaliy's passion for survival and bushcraft was incredible to witness. I took Novice 1 and realized quickly anyone at any level would be engaged by his presence and knowledge. I had lots of fun and maybe what he passed on to me may just save my life someday. And definitely take lots of layers (actually).

Vitaliy is an excellent instructor and tells personal stories to reinforce the skills and how they are useful. He also allows the opportunity to ask questions and made the learning experience enjoyable. I enjoyed how he gave tips and provided knowledge that wasn't necessarily in the schedule (e.g. how to use old man's beard). Plus he was super funny!Novice 1, we learned a variety of essential survival skills. The first day was about notch making and survival mindset and the second day was about building a shelter and important knots.My only critique would be that I would have liked even more hands-on learning, but I hear that comes with the advanced levels.

I took the Novice 1 course and learned tons about the nature and how to survive in the wild. I had a great time building a survival shelter and learning about trees and theirs use for survival or medicinal purposes.I'm looking forward to taking the next course when I have a chance. Vitaliy is great guy to learn from. I would highly recommend this course for anyone that enjoys spending time in the outdoors.

Wow!! This wilderness survival course is the real deal. I recently took the Novice 1 course and want to mention I have a decent background of wild camping and outdoor safety courses - prior to attending, I was already thinking my base knowledge was beyond this course - I was wrong! This course is for beginners but also people with an established outdoor survival base. The instructor, Vitaliy, is a wealth of knowledge and able to simplify and communicate advance skills for people of all levels. I can go on and on, but I cannot recommend this program enough! Time and money well spent and it will inspire you to connect with nature on a deeper level!

Vitaliy is an excellent instructor. Very patient, tells lots of personal stories to drive the point of how these skills have personally assisted him, and allows the opportunity to ask all and any questions.During my experience with Novice 1, we learned a lot on a wide variety of survival skills/knowledge. First day was “class room” type instructions while the second day we learned how to and actually build a shelter. Definitely learned a lot about how/what to pack before going out into the wilderness, and what it takes to survive.Recommended for those who have little/no experience. Looking forward to taking Novice 2!

My wife and I participated in the first course and it exceeded all expectations. The focus on survival mindset about the details of the skills was very refreshing. That said, Vitaliy is very knowledgeable and there are lots of practical skills to be learned which is great.I went into the course feeling very nervous about the idea of being lost in the wilderness, but this course built up my confidence in my survival abilities a lot. Very excited to take the next level soon!
