My sons (5 and 7) have been going for about a year.They learn a lot when they focus, and they always have fun. I started about a month ago and am enjoying myself immensely. Lots to like about this dojo.

Great place to train, a dojo should be more then a place to learn jujitsu, this dojo is the best in town by far, people are great, the atmosphere is awesome, Tad is a great instructor and knows his art. I'm bless to be part of such a great culture.

KAMA is so much more than great instruction. It's a family, a team, and a culture of new friends helping each other out. Whether learning self-defense, getting fit, losing weight, or trying to compete, the entire team works together to train to help everyone crush their goals, and get better everyday.The facilities are always clean and the training is always fun too.There are multiple adjacent classes which is nice to maximize flexibility of training times. Kemptville's affiliation with OAMA also lets you train at any location too which is very convenient.

I only trained with Tad for a short time as my schedule became too busy, but in the time that I was there, I was very impressed with Tad's knowledge, attention to safety, the cleanliness of the facility, and the absolute great bunch of people to train with, showing a top notch culture! Highly recommend!

Superb place to train. Tad is a top notch instructor and he knows his jiu jitsu. Easy going atmosphere, people here always have fun young or old :)

Amazing instructor. You will not find a more helpful, knowledgeable and easy to understand instructor than Tad. If you are looking to learn BJJ or Yoga, get fit, or just meet new people; Kemptville Academy of Martial Arts is the place to go!

These guys are awesome, Tad and all the instructors are great with the kids. They know their stuff and they really know how to create a fun yet controlled environment to teach in. My 4 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son just love it there.

Awesome experience. Great instructor and the classes always include a great group of adults. Also is a great activity for kids and a great way for them to learn self defence and gain a lot of self esteem. My daughtes love it.

Kemtpville Academy of Martial Arts is a wonderful school and place to train. My son does Tiny Tigers and I do adult brazilian jiu jitsu. Professor Tad is a fantastic instructor and the environment is welcoming and warm. The dojo provides the ultimate form of self-care for me. It is rare to find an activity that gives physical self-care through exercise, mental self-care through learning techniques and applying the mind, and social self-care through meeting new friends and having a community of support.The support of private lessons and ZOOM classes during the pandemic has also seriously been a life saver. An amazing place to train. My boys and I have been training there for years. Tad is a knowledable and enthusiastic instructor who is comfortable working with children and adults alike. The dojo has been recently renovated including new mats and is a comfortable family friendly environment. If you are looking to try something new, drop by and talk to Tad.
