We went with Mark about 5 years ago when we purchased our home, and decided to do so again on the discharge and refinance with another lender. Melanie Robicheau, the law clerk at the office, was absolutely amazing and on the ball with everything. She answered questions via email at 7am, and kept answering any of our questions into the late evening (7pm+). This firm is amazing! Used them for a purchase of a rural property, and everyone from the admin staff to the lawyers was an absolute pleasure to deal with. They walked us through every step of the process and explained everything thoroughly in a respectful and professional manner to ensure that we understood everything that was going on. They were always available to answer our questions no matter when, and their attention to due diligence even uncovered a problem that someone had tried to cover up. Can't say enough great things about them - would definitely recommend!

Used Mark's office before and it was a good experience but since he has merged with other lawyers it has been awful dealing with them. The person in charge of refinance will not return calls and prefers to blame the lender for missed deadlines. My refinance has been in process for over a month ! Even after complaints to Marks partner, and the paperwork almost ready" for pick up I received an update it will "hopefully" be ready by the end of the next day. I will never use this law firm again and would strongly advise that unless you have a solid 6 months of time to waste go elsewhere."

We have used WP 4 times in the past 5 years. They are an amazing team to work with. Lisa Perry specifically has an aura of calmness during the stress of closing. I have never had a legal professional be so prompt with their replies. Lisa is a great asset to the team. The lawyers provide great advice and we will definitely be using them in the future and recommending them to friends and family.

I used this office recently for a sale and purchase. The whole process was not smooth and was very stressful. We provided all the necessary documents and signed all the paperwork with the lawyer. We were told at this point that everything was good. On the day of closing for our new home I was contacted by the secretary and told that she needed additional documents from my bank that they had forgotten about and to contact my mortage company for a discharge statement. I rushed to provide her the bank documents requested and contacted the mortage company, who told me that a discharge statement needs to be requested by a lawyer and not the client. I informed the secretary of this and was then told I needed to come sign a document they had forgotten about. At the end of the day the house did close on time, but the process was completely unprofessional and stressful. There was no need to wait until the last minute to review a file and then put all the stress on a client to provide documents within hours on closing day, when we were told the file was complete weeks in advance. I had used this office back in 2009 and the experience back then was great. I hope Mark reads these reviews and takes them seriously. I would not recommend or use this office for anything in the future.

Very pleased with this firm and their professionalism. Upon meeting Mark and the staff I felt comfortable. Paria was a delight to work with. Her knowledge, expertise, and communication were stellar.
