What’s going on out the front of this building? The ground is always torn up from cars driving here, and the management do nothing to fix the situation. There’s nowhere for cars to pull up, just this muddy mess that looks like a WWI battlefield.I should also mention the litany of other issues:-There's no amenities whatsoever, the common room/terrace has to be booked for a large fee and deposit.-Parking is $300/month.-You must come downstairs to get takeout-The fob system is by far the worst I've ever used, and I used to be a maintenance worker on many old apartments, so I've used quite a few.-Tenants are not allowed into the garbage room for some absurd reason, so they just leave their pizza boxes at the door of it, even though this is unsanitary and against fire code.-There's officially nowhere to pull up in front of the building, any couriers are risking tickets from YRP enforcement if they leave their vehicle. Many couriers park in the shops opposite, still risking a fine.-Fire alarm 'tests' are a weekly occurence, and can occur at any time.-There aren't even any pedestrian crossings in the area, despite the fact that Vaughan City already expected the building of these towers since they approved the planning. Mothers with children must jaywalk to the schoolbus every day!-There are no local parks, even though Smartcentres brochures feature them. Dogs are walked on local boulevards, which get ruined. Also, there has been broken glass on the grass outside this building for several weeks now. I would encourage dog owners to walk their dogs outside SmartCentres head office which is nearby.-There is no convenience store or pharmacy within walking distance, the geniuses at SmartCentres actually demolished the store at Jane/7 whilst building these towers!Everyone who rated this building 5 stars is a realtor with an obvious agenda.I'm very unsatisfied with the management of this building, it's not like any other condo building I have visited. No other word for this company but INADEQUATE. I will upload further photos as soon as I have them.

The security staff in Transit City 1 is beyond amazing! I always have the best experiences when dealing with them and can always count on them for anything. It feels comforting knowing that they are there to take care of us!

I often come here to visit my friend, and every time I come, i am pleased as the staff is very friendly and cooperative. Great place to live in

Rent increased $500 after a year of midnight false alarm.Heart-attack volume of alarm and ears get hurt thoGood luck to next tenant

good place if u like broken elevator which takes forever to wait or get in. Great garage if u like drive for five minutes to ur parking space. It’s ok to not set an alarm, cuz fire alarm will wake u up in the morning and midnights!Add onBring some water with u in case u have to use stairs way to go home without passing out :)

I am very impressed of the way the security supervisor at transcrit one really handles himself et and the prémices.I had an emergency request which had a short novices and he was able to find a resolution so that I could be served.He went above and beyond to help me.Very well done sir.

Great building and location. Management ladies are great and very responsive. The parking and grass area infront of the lobbies belong to smart centre and not the building so sometimes it’s hard to deal with them but in regards to the corporation staff, I am happy with how they make me feel appreciated. Great place to live.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Here's a taste of it:1. Poor building management and maintenance. I still have no clue why the building experience so many false fire alarms. The monthly fire alarm testing and false fire alarms add up to about 2 to 3 times PER WEEK; around half of them happen during the night and every time it lasts around 30 min with a horrifying noise that’s enough to make a heart attack. The 4 high-rise elevators - yeah, they are fast, but typically you will find one is booked for loading and another one is broken. I have been trapped in this elevator for 30 min once.2. Poor and illogical building design. 600 sqft 2b2b+1d is ridiculous enough. The smoke detector is located right above the cooktop with an inefficient cooking fan - the fire alarm goes off almost guaranteed every time I want to cook. In the winter, the building makes horrifying ice quake noises in the middle of the night, in which the building pops and bangs, and it sounds like someone dropped a bowling ball. When the wind is high, the building also makes cracking noises. In the summer, the bedroom gets freezing cold because the shared thermostat is located in the living room, where the temperature is always higher because of the direct sunlight.3. Illogical building service. There is a buzzer system, but sorry to say that you still have to go downstairs to pick up your food delivery and just about everything else. Not every unit has a parking space in an area where the walking score is so poor. In my case, my parking space is on the 8TH floor - it means an additional 15 min for my daily commute only to accommodate this. And all the visiting guests need to pay for parking.4. Poor amenities. The building lacks a gym and has extremely limited public space. Each unit comes with one YMCA membership, where they have a gym and a swimming pool. More than one person? Too bad you have to pay up.Did I mention this building is so new and does not have rent control, so the landlord can jack up the price however they want?
