Best restaurant patio in Thornbury! Live music and a beautiful view of the harbour. Drinks were great, food was ok. Lots of Mediterranean open options on the menu (plus burgers and wings) but nothing really stood out after our family style meal.

A group of 6 of us went to Sterlings on Canada day, we came in with the rush and we’re the last seated on the patio with the final large table. It was lovely. The patio space is great, with lovely views of the harbour. Umbrellas kept us nice and shady. Our waitress was amazing, and very calm throughout the Canada day chaos. Other couples came in after us, and we were a bit shocked to see them get drinks before us (just beers). Because we were at the end of the big rush, and ordered cocktails they took a little longer to prepare, once we mentioned the wait they had comped all 6 of our drinks! The food came shortly after. Delicious large serving of fries and sandwich, carpaccio, fresh Ceviche with crackers, the serving was great but splitting a couple things we asked for another order of crackers to go with our food. Unfortunately it was so busy our waitress came back to tell us that our meals would be comped as well. We left a big tip as a thank you!The staff were all so friendly, the location is great, we enjoyed awesome drinks and food!We will be back!

A recommendation brought us to the harbour area. Pleasant night to sit on the patio. We enjoyed the “full tour” apps followed by lamb burger and paella. Our server was happy to assist in the wine selection and an overall great night. Will visit again.

Wow! Just Wow. This place was incredible and beat my expectations by a mile. Their patio is great and service is extremely friendly and efficient. But their food is out of this world. I ordered the lamb burger with halloumi and it was seriously up there with the best I’ve ever had. The patatas bravas side was also excellent. Our table also shared the artichoke dip for starters and again: perfect score. I was a very big fan and will definitely visit again when in the area.

Braved a snowstorm to make our reservation- and I’m glad we did!The fireplace in the dining room makes this cozy atmosphere, perfect for cocktails like their cedar smoked old fashioned and amaro sour. Make sure to order the beignets- absolutely decadent!

Blown away by the great food - delicious and beautifully presented.We ordered their specials, a couple fish dishes that were perfectly cooked. The baked halibut was served with a seafood paella - it was as good as I've ever had anywhere!What a find - 5 star cooking at very reasonable prices and with friendly service. The casual patio overlooks the harbour. I highly recommend this place.

The server who met us at the back patio entrance of this restaurant made us feel most unwelcome. We were given a mini-lecture on why we should have used the front entrance (although there were no signs redirecting us). We were then told we would be served last because we didn’t make a reservation. Worth noting that the restaurant wasn’t that busy.If you’re looking for a restaurant where staff serves up plenty of attitude and mediocre food, this is your place.

Coworkers and I met for lunch this past weekend. We had such a wonderful time! Out of the five of us, only 1 person didn’t have a food allergy, but Sterlings was able to accommodate us all. They were so friendly and welcoming! And the food! Oh my goodness it was delicious!! Everything I ate was just so good! Thank you so much for the wonderful afternoon.
