Fitness Factory Edmonton

Bought a full set of the hex dumbbells, specifically chose these as they were advertised as virgin rubber, NO SMELL. These dumbbells came covered in oil, smell horrible, even the quality control on the grips and rubber looked poor. I let them air out, and wiped them down 3 times (once with soapy water, once with Alcohol spray, and then finally Clorox wipes). It has been 6 months and these dumbbell still have decently strong smell to them. fyi- I own another set that have zero smell to them.

The Owner cares about customer satisfaction. Good communication and Corey the (delivery guy) really cares about delivering and installing quality products. Will return.

Purchased a new treadmill and a few other home gym items this week. I had reached out via email with questions on different treadmills and the pros/cons of each, and was contacted right away by Samantha. She was very helpful throughout our email exchange and that convinced me to travel to the city to purchase rather than ordering online. I am very thankful for her assistance.The store is very well organized and easy to browse. The staff were exceptional - great advice and service all around. I highly recommend Fitness Factory and will definitely return for more as I build my home gym. Thank you Samantha and team.

I purchased two pieces of equipment from Fitness Factory over a two year period. A Matrix Treadmill and a Matrix Stationary bike. (Along with multiple other small gym equipment). The Matrix equipment is very high quality equipment and works fantastic. I did have a noise that appeared with decline on the treadmill so called Samantha at Fitness Factory and she had Matrix complete warranty work and everything turned out perfect. I highly recommend this company for your fitness equipment.

I went in with some research done of the type of treadmill I wanted and what I was looking for in a treadmill. I've never bought a treadmill brand new and was nervous. Ameet was very knowledgeable in treadmills and showed me different options. He was never pushy or tried to upsell me. In fact, he ensured I got exactly what I wanted for the best price! Rarely do salesmen do this and I appreciated it so much. Jeff was wonderful in ensuring I got my model to take home with me. He also assured me that I can call him if I have any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this wonderful team here. Thank you for everything! I'm so excited to get home and try it out!

Helpful Staff, Tom!! He invested the time to show me the different options. After this experience, I was glad to purchase the spin bike. He and staff delivering it to my vehicle. We recently purchased a treadmill and some gym equipment from here. Samantha was great to deal with and answered all of our questions. The service was superb. We had our treadmill delivered and installed by Cory and Munir. Again, the service they provided was superb. They set the treadmill up, made sure everything was working and gave me the information I needed in regards to maintaining the treadmill. I highly recommended doing business here, we had an excellent experience.

Bought the beginnings of our home gym a few months ago at Fitness Factory. We were very impressed with the service, quality of product, and overall experience from start to finish. Ameet helped us out and recommended the perfect set up for my husband and I's needs. After using it for a few months already, we are so happy we bit the bullet and got it. Ameet even made sure to follow up with us a month or two later to make sure we were still satisfied with everything. I would recommend this store (and already have!).

Purchased a treadmill from Fitness Factory and experience was great! We were interested in curved manual treadmills but were warned about them feeling different than normal motorized ones. Dealt with Tom and he let us try out the floor model to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. No pressure sales tactics, just helpful. Delivery was quicker than expected.If there was one downside, the delivery guy couldn’t make it the first day we had scheduled and the next time when he showed up he didn’t have a dolly to unload the treadmill from the truck. He was very pleasant to deal with but could have been more prepared. Aside from that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or buy from them again.

It seems like my experience is a bit of an outlier compared to the other reviews, but in my opinion the management of this place is atrocious, by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The floor staff are great though!I purchased a treadmill from here and it was installed on Feb 17th, 2023. During the installation process we noticed that the treadmill had damage to the frame. I immediately wrote an email detailing the issue. I also called and spoke with the warehouse manager who assured me that they would read the email and get back to me asap. No one got back to me.I called on Feb 21st – Warehouse manager says he hasn’t read my email and he will investigate right away and get back to me. No one got back to me.I called on Feb 22nd – Warehouse manager said he is waiting to hear back from his manager, and he will get back to me. No one got back to me.I called on Feb 28th – I spoke with the warehouse manager again, said he hasn’t heard back from his manger yet, but he has a call with him the next day, he will bring it up and get back to me.I called on Match 1st – I spoke with the warehouse manager again to see what the verdict was. He said he didn’t have an answer for me. At this point I’ve had enough, I said that I’m going to start the process of returning the treadmill.The warehouse manager ended up calling me back and said that they would send a technician out to bend the frame back in place. I mentioned that Friday March 3rd would work best for me. Well guess what? its March the 12th(24 days later) and still nothing. No one form the fitness factory, or any technician has reached out to me to set up an appointment to fix the problem.These guys are pathetic, if I could give them zero stars I would.
